Thanks! I had not thought of the chamois. I’ll give it a try. I generally use the blending stump. Works great! Thanks for those ideas.

sometimes I use q-tips. I also use the corner of a drawing paper that's been folded several times, works like a stump too

Do you have a video on the different types of pencils there are. I'm not formally trained on anything in the art world. I do love drawing and sometimes I just love pencils. I do love colored pencils but sometimes I like just a black pencil. I bought a set on clearance at Hobby Lobby. The are the Derwent Sketching pencils. They were normally crazy like $15. I got them for 3.75. They come in a tin with a sharpener. They are really really nice and smooth to draw with and I already love them. The types of lead are 2HB, 2B, 4B. There is 2 of each. I do not understand what the differences are in the letters and numbers. Do you have a video on that? or.. if not would you be willing to do a video explaining? Thanks. I just found you recently. I really love your videos on painting and drawing. Thanks for sharing.

I used an old paintbrush (dry, and clean) a while back. It worked pretty well.
