Love the Green Pumpkin / Orange on the Allegheny River. Depending on the day, the TicklerZ in the same color works well too. For stained water lakes in the summer, Junebug and Coppertruse are great as well. Thanks for the video.

Wow, I'm really surprised you didn't mention Coppertreuse, Hot Snakes and Yoga Pants (Black). There are days on our western PA rivers where the only thing the Smallies will eat is Coppertreuse

Left a comment on last vid saying you were making me want to throw the Ned rig, I went out today and it was very tough but the one bait I did get bites on was the green pumpkin/orange Ned rig when everything else failed

Definitely use those colors. I also use Coppertreuse and sometimes Drew’s craw in midwest creeks and rivers

Nice tips. It’s always interesting to me the colors you get when those dual color TRDs get too hot. Sometimes that is the magic.

Nathan, The Deal is my go to at my lake and, it's my "nothing else will work" bait to at least catch 1 or 2 with on any given day. My main lake is a sand bottom and crawfish are non existent. My fish are fish eaters. So, The Deal will always be # 1 for me. Having said that, my PB all time was caught on a TRD very close in color to your Green Pumpkin/Orange one there. My 6.76 pounder came on a Molten Craw colored Finesse TRD. It's got the orange but, the second half is black with different colored flakes in it. The purple flake concept is interesting.

Thought for sure you were going to mention my favourite color Bubble Guts , I have caught most of my bass over the last two years on it, all three species of bass and also have caught some big crappie on it , and it doesn't matter if it's stained water or 10 feet of visibility, it just out catches every other color , I also love coppertreuse if I'm at a smallmouth fishery

This time of year the hot craw which has a red belly is a great bait as well, but I've thrown just about every color & they have all worked better than others at different times, depends on what mood they are in, the ones have not worked is the blue gill, black & blue, chartreuse & copper, hot snakes, even the orange & green pumpkin, molten lava haven't tried the golby yet, but I fish the tennessee river! 🎣👍

I love how you simplify color choice. I'm in New Hampshire. I fish small lakes with CLEAR water, both smallmouth (my favorite!) and largemouth. The bait is perch and bluegill. So I'm loving your colors! And especially want to find out what you recommend for bluegill. Roger The Smiling BassHole

Thanks Nathan. Do you fish any other Ned rig baits besides TRD? Owner has a Ned rig head you Texas rig that works great for snag infested areas. Works with Ned's and up to 4" senkos. I think you will like them.

The one one the intro picture the need looks like 40 years old like you got it in the 80's 🧐 it was all swivel up 🤢 fish will not eat that. Just saying did you notice that.

Hummm, It's always bothered me that a proven fact is that Bass ALWAYS have better visibility of a dark colored bait against a light background and a light colored bait against a dark background and yet when we thread our two toned plastics we always do the REVERSE of what is BEST in regards their visibility??? Nature/our creator gave bait fish their best protection to AVOID against being mauled in their color scheme and yet, we mimic that very same color scheme when we're trying to catch the prey we seek! Think about it, how does this make any sense???? I got to believe that we'd have more success if we would change this mentality.
