I'm not just stressed out as hell and feeling anxious, I was feeling so down and sad and sick as well. I've been trying to find 'funny' and 'cheerful' videos tonight, but nothing cracked a smile on my face, except this video! Just listening to you made me feel a little better, so thank you for that! Totally subscribing and watching the rest of your videos!

I just started going to weekly counseling. I've been having a tough time with some family drama that has engulfed my life. What you said about letting it out immediately is all too true. I've added a new work out regimen and it is helping a lot. Also, my husband has been very supportive and has even went with me to some of the counseling sessions. Thanks for you videos. I'm a new subscriber!

wonderful video, really makes me feel better... been under some stress from all the changes that start happening in early adulthood, getting a job, trying to learn new things all the time, taking responsibilty, making mistakes and feeling unworthy and miserable and blabla whatever else. Oh yea, great examples with the balloons!

Sean your video is highly informative, and so simple and direct. Your balloon is a perfect analogy of how stress builds up. Many people just live life too fast and don't respect themselves and end up having to conform to the expectations of others which is so wrong.

This really helped me a lot. Even though I know this, it was different hearing it from someone else. I hate the feeling of suffocation when I'm overwhelmed with stress and anxiety. I tend to bottle it all up assuming I can deal with it when I eventually just break down. I was really stressed out before watching this but now with a clear mind i can continue with my work. Thank you:)

Sean I practiced dealing with stress effectively a couple months ago. The energy that I kept inside kept building up. One day I felt better after expressing this energy in what people would've called "an unhealthy way". It's very rare for me to act out this behaviour because I'm a positive being. My point being is sometimes letting go of being a good person.

Hi Sean - I manage a team of folks and I have 4 people who follow all of the 3 negative patterns you describe here - pattern number 1 drives me mad. They've got really good reasons for arguing why they should stay as they are - all to do with how 'bad' others are. I follow your positive approach - but have to put up with criticism for it. Sometimes I have trouble releasing fast enough - so I pop to see my manager and journal. Great vid.
