So you use a to refer to a general object or an object that you didn't mention before like "a table was in the middle". "An" is like "a" but it's used when a word starts with a vowel (a e i o u). The is used to refer to something previously mentioned by you or something that is known specifically "There was *a* table in the middle. *the* table had *an* apple"

Sir, how to improve the self confidence level during public presentation?
@derekcallan-englishforpros
3 жыл бұрын
Hi Lai Lai! Here are some tips for improving self-confidence during a public presentation: 1. Know your topic really well and be very-well prepared. 2. Be convinced and enthusiastic about the topic you are presenting. I know this is not always possible, but if it is, it should help with your confidence. 3. Practise in front of people you know and get feedback, but make sure you don't only get positive feedback. Ask people to focus on things you could do better too. 4. Record your voice or even film yourself. Analyse how you sound and what your body language is like - ask yourself: what can I do to sound or look more confident? I hope this helps. Regards, Derek
