My physio recommended I use my walker as much as possible rather than a scooter.

There is a strap on the right side of the seat. That is to help you fold the walker to put it in a car. When attaching the back rest, lift up that strap and thread it around the back rest. That will keep the strap within easy reach at all times, especially if the person using the rollator has issues with leaning over.

And how is this going to stop you from falling over sideways?

I see people walking without their fingers around the brakes, so if you trip forward you will never pull the brakes quickly enough to avoid hitting the ground

My husband fell when he used the simple upright walker (the two wheeler.) He was at the bathroom sink. Let go of one hand to turn on the water. The walker went sideways and he fell. I myself find the 2 wheeler very dangerous. Any ideas?

Didn't know you could pull down the brakes to sit. No one taught me 😮

It is one of those learn on the go. No one told me, so was holding them while sitting down. Then the mental lightbulb flashed.

Why do none of these videos show how to UNFOLD THE WALKER!! WE can't get my husband's to UNFOLD 😢

I just don't see how this can work especially when the user is not within the walker and the brakes would take too long to activate if you are not gripping them all the time

I've just got one of these from my Physiotherapist. I bought a cup holder and travel mug for it which is cool but I was wonder if adding go faster stripes to it would be going too far?

Decorate it any way you want.😉Personally, I have a bag on the front (holds folded grocery bags, note pad, etc). Plus coffee mug, phone and cane holders, on the side frames. Under the seat. Asthma/COPD meds, tissues, book, ca$h, anything that might come in handy. I have put seasonal decor on the cross bar, making sure they will not affect function. Learn how to collapse it quick for putting into vehicle. PRACTICE! Also obviously, how to get it out of vehicle, open it back up, making sure all is back into place. 😉

@@Forget209 Cheers Eileen. I was saying it a little tongue in cheek. I may get some decoration for my scooter when it comes as I'll be using it more than the rollator. I have added some discreet stripes to it, just to make it look a little different to all the others.

@@twistybeard4703 oh, I have seen some awesome scooters. Go for it. Obviously check safety. I have even seen holiday lights on some.

@@Forget209 I have been test driving scooters for about a month now/ My favourite was the TriGlide which looks more like a 3 wheel motorcycle than a scooter. Not ideal for me even though I would look cool on it. Practicality means I've had to opt for the eFoldi which looks more like a chair with wheels, but even with my condition I can fold it and bring it indoors when I've finished with it.
