I picked up an old router plane at a flea market and use it all the time. A very unappreciated tool, and probably my favorite. Since I get mine prices have skyrocketed for the old ones. Glad to see new ones are of good quality too.

Chuck those brass bolts in your lathe or drill press thread side out/down and round the bottom of them with some emery cloth and steel wool to finish👍

I plan on it. I have ones from Goingmake that have the rounded screws. I like the pads on these better. It is not a big deal but I feel the main reason for a review is to point out what is good and what is not.

Mine didn't come with a bearing ball.

@@ShopRamblings Google translator...😡 I meant that you need to insert a ball from a bearing to avoid the problem. Of course, it is not included in the kit. You need to disassemble a suitable bearing and use the ball from it.

@ShopRamblings

The router plain comes with one 1/2" cutter. They sell a set that comes with 1/16, 1/8", 1/4", and 3/16 for $53.

... If you want the brand on your clamp right side up. Unscrew the pad on the post, unscrew the post assembly, flip it around, screw the pad back in and the pad back on. As concerning of a name 'Enjoywood' is, I'd still want it the right way around as well. Its even upside down in the picture😒... If you don't want your spline jig 'tippy' just put those sticky felt furniture leg pads on all four corners of the rails. It'll slide better and stabalize it at the same time. thanks for the review!

I have already flipped the clamps. On the website, they have them both ways in the pictures. As far as the splint jig being tippy, if everything is straight and square, it should sit flat. It is good enough for the price but something is not square. I like to make sure all my tools and jigs are as square as possible. When I have time, I will try to figure out what is out of square.

No . It is only $60. It would have been $100-$200 if I had bought a different brand.
