This was a really good list. I agree with several you mentioned, me neither. I've gone very simple over the years. Instead of dryer sheets, I switched to dryer balls many years ago and they work fine to keep clothes soft, drying time is shortened and no scents.

I bought that O’Cedar spin mop; the biggest waste of $$$. It was hard to use, especially the pumping part.

The pink tax isn't on pink items, it's items marketed to women so even if it's purple, teal, white or floral scented or just towards women like feminine care products will be more expensive.

Found your channel recently. I love your style and voice and the common sense approach you bring to this Marketers spend a lot of time figuring out form factor. Someone gave me a smart watch because i have a chance of having seizure and the Samsung watch has a hard fall safety feature where it will call someone and give them your location. So it's a safety issue. I use coffee table books to make envelopes. They are cheap to buy at garage sales etc. They make beautiful envelopes and cards The cricut is something you can own WITH other people. I have craft tools that are co- owned by other crafters. You got me on the dog toys. We pull the ones he doesn't like and we put the bag out at the dog park

one of my biggest savers is not having kids. I am single guy and plan to stay this way. I have SOOO much more disposable income. I dont have social media either so everything you mentioned I have no idea existed haha.

Hi Mariela! Great list of items. I definitely have bought less now than before when I didn’t thrift as much. I buy more second hand now. I use to have a gym pass too but found it a waste as I hardly ever went lol.

Any cup is essentially pleasing. Even plastic ones. As, long as you can drink from it. It's fine. ❤

@@MarielaMerino, Their buying the company name on the product. Name brand products start out as, regular blank products. It doesn't make it any better.

I'm with you on all of these except I'm more minimal because I don't use hand sanitizer and I'm less minimal because I own dish towels, although I never have to buy any because my mom always has a surplus that she passes along to me.

It is good to be a minimalist. What is the solution if I have some of those things? Throw out or sell them?
@MarielaMerino

Indeed. Donate if in good condition and selling is a good option if you think you can make some money back. My rule with selling is if it doesn't sell within 6 months I just donate it so I don't keep around all the clutter

Step one would just be to use what you have. The most sustainable option is to use it up. If the items are truly sitting unused then look to sell/donate them.
