I love how the shrimp are so BOLD! They think they will attack the camera! What a wonderful way to actually enjoy your timid turtles.

Gorgeous tank in all ways. Curious if you ever thought about adding some of the rarer pleco breeds (starlights, gold nugget etc). Please more videos of this tank, keep up great work!!
@gregjonesonline

plecos absolutely thrive in a large tank like this, the common pleco was a rescue, i haven't purchased any others because pleco spines can hurt turtles if the turtles bite - and it's a turtle tank first.

Awesome looking stuff man. Still jealous of all of your endlers! Somehow my turtles are still decimating the population. I'm down from 300 to about 30 now XD But they population is recovering in the baby turtle tub! Overall, beautiful video

try adding floating live/fake plant cover, some turtle species are better fish hunters than others, these map turtles prefer to look for snails rather than fish

I am trying to start building a turtle tank I'm so glad I found your channel. Cause I was going to do something like a 55-75 maybe even a 100 gallon glass tank but after seeing you set up 😳👍🏻 wow it is amazing and I think I will do my own spin on the same idea. If you don't mind me asking just about how much does your set up cost and what does it run you to keep it up and running? Just the turtle not whole fish room I know you have a lot more then just the turtles I've been up all night binge watching lol love your content.! 👌 top notch

I know plecos are natures' kevlar, but do the turtles ever bother them?
@gregjonesonline

this common pleco is so much larger than the turtles that they don't really interact, i wouldn't take a chance on a small pleco though

This was a nice change of pace. Not that you talking is a bad thing, but a picture is worth a thousand words. Unless there's a dramatic change that requires an explanation; its sometimes better to show instead of tell.

Greg Jones Wow all your cray fish from both sp. are such majectic, astounding creatures!! (As well as of course ALL of your other amazing fish & breathtaking turtles that is of course!!) I truly applaud you for saving them from such a fate!! POOR ANIMALS!! 😢😭 I myself have cray fish with juvenile bullfrogs & northern green frogs in a 180 gal riparium but am planning on a new set-up for the crayfish once the bullfrogs reach maturity & could potentially pose as a threat or at least as an inevitable stressor to the crayfish which would negate my mission in maintaining these creatures of course! I am extremely glad to hear, however, ur lack of experiencing any negative interactions btw ur own crayfish & ur turtles thus far at least as I have been hesitant to pondering placing my crayfish in with my map turtles when the time arises but perhaps I will cautiously optimistically test it out...especially granted my maps are in a 150 gal which would solely present 50% of ur 300 setup of course...
