White Scars and Chogoris itself have one of the most fascinating views on Psykers in the Imperium. They nurture them and find them early, teach them that the power is a Test, the Test of Heaven more specifically. They instill the mutation as a challenge to be overcome and eventually, harmonize with. No psykers born on Chogoris on record have fallen to Chaos, let alone blown themselves up, thanks to the martial and mental discipline they instill in their psykers from childhood.

@@maltheri9833 He was too busy just trying to find them, and then too busy trying to make humanity chaos-free with the Webway project. Early on with Horus, Russ, Ferrus, Fulgrim, Vulkan, Dorn, and the rest of the early discoveries Big E spent much more time mentoring the primarchs one-on-one. None ever got as much time dedicated to them as Horus did, but that just goes to show that the big guy's influence wasn't really all that important in how they turned out. By the time of Angron and Alpharius? The guy clearly had no interest in dedicating any time whatsoever to counselling them once discovered. It's implied this is due to some rapidly advancing timeline, whether that is the Horus Heresy itself (as Malcador implies) or some other cause. Daddy Emps decided it was time to go full steam ahead on his Webway project almost immediately after all the primarchs had been discovered, and it can be assumed that he believed their brother primarchs would handle the mentorships themselves. Don't look at 40k for this kinda stuff, look at 30k. Much more well-defined and it explains a lot of the idiosyncrasies that 40k has.

@@maltheri9833 You haven't reached the point yet where you think that the Emperor's plans weren't likely entirely benevolent. I certainly don't think so, but the whole point is that he is ambiguous and difficult to understand, as is the vast majority of 40K when it is at it's best. We aren't supposed to think that the authoritarian God Emperor who is responsible for the suffering of countless trillions of human due to a tyrannical dictatorship that IS entirely his fault is a purely good figure. That would be a twisted message. Strap in for more moral ambiguity and confusion if you are going to keep diving into 40K. That is what it is about. It does not need a rewrite.

Jaghatai is so underrated and under appreciated imo He’s fiercely loyal but also extremely intelligent and fair.

Imperial Fists (and their successors) are and always will be the my favorite groups in the imperium. As someone who also has an immense sense of duty (at times to my detriment) this is right up my alley.

Would like the custodes next. A deep dive on a single topic would be a nice change.

I enjoy many lore channels, but when I want a truely scholarly level of understanding about 40k, there is only Luetin.

Wouldn't mind a custodes video. And maybe one on Sigismund.

Whenever i think of Leman Russ's message, it always makes me think that 40k is en route to an age of sigmar style period, where all the great gods return and the universe gets put into war+

I would love to hear about the Traitor Legions next, with same emphasis on how they functioned internally and externally before the Heresy, how each Legion's reunion with their Primarch impacted them, what ultimately led them to betray the Imperium, and of course, what are they most known for, etc. I mean, I already know it, but hearing it here, on Luetin's channel, experiencing this with everyone else, invested in the lore of 40k, is a different thing altogether.
