Mr Lee is a rich man. At least, he is having the best in the world. The nature, the place, the food and his own DIY chocalate are all the best. I've had an excellent experience in his Silk Valley Spa resort long time ago. You can smell the wood all the time in the room. I wish I could visit him again very soon.

養殖魚的抗生素是殘留在內臟和皮,所以吃瘦肉的部分是沒問題的.

I didn’t need to understand what was being said to see what a lovely place that was and how delicious the food looked 😋

The other Alys Quick translation - he is very philosophical. He said there’s no need to keep chasing money. Since we eat 365 days a year, to taste nature’s bounty is already a luxury. He is a proponent of healthy eating, he ‘laments’ he is the most laborious Chef making everything himself. There is no fixed menu since his ingredients are harvested from nature so they are seasonal. The irony of the Taiwanese lifestyle, they’d rather eat cheaply, then fork out more for expensive medicine. Hope you are more enlightened by this Chef and his wisdom.

This Taiwanese chef is part of a growing global movement of "eating local" & "farm-to-table." This movement can be found in Napa Valley, CA, USA, New York, USA, Europe, etc. Eating away from chemical additives & back to organically-grown foods, for better health, is undeniably catching on to the masses.

I have a friend who owns a house with land. And she used it as a vegetable farm.. She cooks greens only from her garden and with limitations . She shares her daily menu on FB with friends . I do not envy her because she missed out too much on imported greens that cannot be grown in our tropical country - Variety is the essence of life !
