We have all done dumb things. That is when you're super happy to have that tow membership! One year, as a new boater I used the membership three times (two break downs, one empty tank). Talk about re-cooping your money! The empty tank happened 26 miles offshore! The previous owner neglected to tell me the fuel gauge wasn't accurate and just above 1/2 tank was "empty". Yes, the boat was a beater. I was in college and that was all I could afford. While we were out there waiting for the towing company I helped the Coast Guard with a stranded boater who's radio was so weak they (the CG) could only hear the mic clicking. I could hear the guy talking so I relayed his info to the Coast Guard. Funny how life puts you in those situations.

I’d rather hear the Hondas do their thing, instead of the music, thanks. Boy, with all of that sand/silt running through the water intakes, that must really do a number to the cooling systems on the outboards.

He s stirring up the sand behind the propellors. The propellers are in relatively clear water above the sand. Your assumption is wrong.

Yes please no music!! Can’t hear the true sound of the recovery and your wonderful comments. Especially the soundtrack with the electronic drum beat, really ear piercing with headphones. Love the videos as they are without music. Thanks

I see a dude one day come in getting towed and he didn’t look happy. I looked into what it cost to get towed without a tow membership. And signed up that very day never get on the water without my boats USA towing membership. It’s that important and very affordable.

As the old saying goes, you haven't been around till you run aground. Although, with a new 41 Jupiter, think I would be a little more cautious with a million dollar plus boat!

why not go through the bow to anchor point .. should be strongest connection point
@CaptainRetriever

Probably just bend the anchor chute, also usually a sharp angle that cuts the tow line.

Wow, all that money in a boat and no brains for navigation. Should have left him to wait for high tide.

What was the rush? Just wait for the tide. I guess the boat operator doesn’t care about the equipment. Hard on the outboards and if the towline snaps it could be deadly.

They were just pop ups set in teak, run the risk of bending or damaging the wood. The stern was the only solid cleat.
