😅 Tough crowd… 🙏🏻I’m praying for you Lil Luke! I thought the video was pretty cool and well made, and the content of what he was saying was very real. I do see very basic similarities aesthetically speaking that people could draw to other videos from the secular side of the genre and culture, but I also see important differences and distinctions as well. Don’t get me started down the rabbit hole. I think the heart and intent behind this video was pure and the aesthetic is probably just informed by the various aspects of the environment of the young man and his team/support system. I don’t think this video displayed any clear intent to emulate anything ungodly or vain or offensive in particular . I’m not saying anyone is completely right or wrong about their perspective, but I think there is plenty of room for grace here and a chance for encouragement and support. If this young man wants to praise the Lord rather than other things after he almost didn’t live to see this day according to his song, then that’s an awesome thing! If there is reason for disagreement, that’s alright. Just pray for the Holy Spirit to guide his life toward the center of God’s Will for him. If there was blatant presentation of anything obviously dishonoring God not glorifying God, then I could see more reason to be critical, but ultimately any opinion or constructive criticism can still be given with support and kindness and love. He’s a child. 🤷🏻♂️
