Dell nearly singing New Gold Dream there near the end. Ha. And Holy Moly, Never for Ever is the only Kate Bush album I haven’t really given time too yet. Looking forward to that. =]

@Pana, we have to really try hard NOT to sing along! There's a significant latency between my place in Seattle and Dell's in west Texas, so syncing the audio is our single biggest challenge. I think we're going to try Jacktrip pretty soon. And the Never for Ever show went really well and it turning out nicely. It'll be up in less than 24 hours!

@@Renjeaux Sometimes I hear the delay on your side when Dell is talking so I imagine the logistics of audio sync would be quite the challenge. Glad to hear the new episodes will be up soon as I’ve grown quite fond of the show and get excited when alerted to a new one. Keep up the fabulous work. Your insights and heart make this show a great way to revel in cool albums and “hang out” with music friends!

@@panamuse Yeah, thanks for the feedback. I've been learning production through Premiere Pro this last month versus my former method on Pro Tools. I didn't have the kinks worked out when I did that. Hopefully the next few shows will be better. Thanks again for listening. We seriously appreciate your comments Pana Muse. (Dell)

Friends of Mine is one of my favorite DD songs. Love the guitar solo at the end so much! They play this song in concerts as a surprise to the fans.

Looks like you guys reviewed the entire album song by song...awesome! Great album! And yes, that is Simon singing TelAviv at the end. There is an Air Studio demo version of TelAviv that sounds totally different with lots of guitar and sounds more like progressive rock and I love it but part of it sounds a lot like a song on the David Bowie Monster album so probably why they didnt put it in an album but its beautiful! kzitem.info/news/bejne/pWypzYuniouFZoY

OMG, that is TOTALLY different! I'm definitely more of a new wave/new romantic fan than of the mid-70s Roxy Music/David Bowie sound, so i definitely prefer the album version... to me, one of the best instrumentals ever.

@@Renjeaux Yes, the actual album TelAviv goes better with their sound there but I do love both.

The strings for "Tel Aviv" were arranged by Richard Myhill, who was suggested by producer Colin Thurston to do the arrangement. That track also originally had lyrics and was not written as an instrumental.

Thanks for sharing this information, les. It was a precursor to their more orchestral, grand arrangements.

You may want to check the original demo of this song, it had lyrics and it’s on an other level. 🎉

@@bluesilver7237 - Yeah I have heard the demo with lyrics. Glad they changed it to the instrumental version that made it onto the album to be honest.
