Tell ya what Rick, I've never run across anyone's granny that drove something that sounds like THAT! 🙂 Good to see you still making content for us to watch, sir. - Ed on the Ridge

Very good Rick as usual. Im told that Grandma single 4 intake while it may look wrong on a Gen2 has very good street manners and throttle response.

Yes I’ve had them on street cars and race cars and they’re great. But I like the stock inline 2 4 bbl look. Thanks for watching.

I like to use studs in the two corners... what do you say? Is there a casting date on this early manfold? I have a early (´74 ) Direct Connection piece that doesn´t have any. Or is it only the ´64 aluminum that have a casting date? And thanks for the video. Always interesting to listen to you.

Studs are proper in the corners. But it makes it take forever to torque down. To look proper after torquing down you would remove the Allen’s in those 2 and put studs in. I’ve never seen a casting date on the mag crossrams. But it may be there in the codes on the side. Thanks for watching.

Diaphragms on the carburetor vacuum secondaries you usually gotta order them separate and I believe there are two different diaphragms as far as the length goes if I remember right so you had better double check that

I thought the 68 Dart and Cuda engines were still painted Race Hemi orange, but maybe that’s just wishful thinking, it’s my favorite of the two.

No they were painted the same as the street engines of that year. Thanks for watching.

We need a new design carburetor other than Holley's or Carters , maybe like the old Kindig from the 1960's or 1970's.

EFI has so many advantages. But I’m old school and lost in the 60’s. I guess I’m stuck with Holleys for life. Thanks for watching.

@@rickseeman5679 I'm doing a 62 belvedere.. just a small block, i'm trying to keep the pushbutton setup. 7 hours today sanding and priming the engine bay... this didn't seem to hurt so much 25 years ago :)

@@icetech6 Underhood sanding has always been tough. But add 25 years and it’s miserable. The only good thing is now you have more patience. Don’t get in a hurry. Do your best work.
