We made a special tool for changing these block heaters. We cut a piece of plate and made a crowfoot for a 1/2 inch drive. Makes it a lot easier to change it.

Nice informative video ,i do think when tractor designers get together the first thing the work in is how many part s can we cover with some thing else just to make it a longer job.

Thank you for today's video. You do make some of these repairs look very easy, my normal luck is the petcock is seized and the line going to the turbo would twist when the nut was moved. lol I know you have those days too, were those things happen no matter what.

I like the way you make your videos as i compare them to what i do on our farms here in australia, and there is a huge different in the the dairy industry between the USA and Australia as far as what you grow and feed them to spreading poop on the paddocks or fields as you call them

I'm trying to change one on a 4230. The large threaded plug is round not a hex. I'm trying to figure out how to remove it. Possibly weld a big hex nut on it?

Im thoroughly convinced that your "tripod" is a metal rim with a pipe welded to it. It sounds like metal being drug across the floor.

Leave it to a engineer to place things like that in a area where you can't get to it!! What all do you have to work on with the barn scrapers? Thanks for taking the time to make these videos!👍

Rebuilding the sleds on the scrappers. We use rubber on the arms of the scrappers, those either have to get flipped out replaced and new bottom skids get out onto the scraper truck.
