At least you're aware of the constant complaining, this video should be called 'Toronto Gripes' lol. It's unfortunate that you had such a terrible experience, definitely visit in the summer with fun friends.

I will tell you exactly why you get better customer service at restaurants in the U.S. then In Canada. Restaurants have one of the biggest fail rates for any business in Canada because it's super tough to turn a profit. The reason the U.S have such good customer service is because to be a server or dishwasher, they get paid so low that you can have twice the staff as opposed to Canada where our minimum wage is like double so in order for restaurant owners to keep their payroll under control, you have way less staff. Having that said, your experience at the second restaurant with the pool was bad even by Toronto standards. Half hour for a burger is too long, I noticed the server came back way after because she couldn't remember what side you wanted, then had bacon on the burger...yada..yada... That's not normal in Toronto. Again, another reason service in Toronto can be bad is because turn over in this industry is so high. By the time you get a server trained and they know what they're doing, they practically gone. It's an industry with major problems.

Hi! Thanks you for watching!! Yea, I agree with you I figured the US does have better customer service due to lower wages, which allows for more staff to be hired to provide attentive service, makes sense. The high turnover in the industry def contributes to the poor service.

I disagree, just cause one place or i guess 2 in this case, where she didnt like the service, doesn't mean every restaurant in toronto or Canada will have bad service, thats just silly.😀

@@eddieisgreat5150 Of course not every restaurant will have bad service. Nobody said that so not sure what your talking about. We're talking about the industry in general compared the U.S I'm telling you they get paid way less in the U.S, so that allows them to have way more staff.

@@C-mac_in_the_6ix also watched other videos of people that visited TO and none of them complained about service , yes sometimes stuff happens but she acts like it never happens in the us and it seems to be the norm here. Ive seen vids in the us where restaurant service was not good, sometimes it happens. In the U.S. and in Canada

Are you allergic to bacon? Why didn't you just take it off the burger, lol.
