You never say how big a ”part” is. And we can not se from abov how deep the cups are. How much do you finally have in each cup (and the big pillow-cup) right before you pour. This paintin is the most beautiful cloud pour I have ever seen!! I just have to get this right! 😁

Another stunning result, especially with the multi coloured cells! I understand this video is a few months old, but I was wondering if you were able to give a ball park figure on the amount of the background/base paint you used for this painting? I’m extremely new and was just looking for a guide. Thank you for sharing you talents!

I’d like to do something similar for my new grandsons nursery. The darkest paint you add no decoart, just paint & floetrol and water? The others you use paint, enamel, Floetrol & water, correct?

Love this! But I have a question...I'm a fluid artist and I am also a stroke survivor. My left side was affected which basically means I only have my right hand to tilt with. Any ideas on how to make tilting easier on myself would be great. Right now I have to hold it like a waitress with a tray and I drop it or get reverse finger dips. Which is fine sometimes (not the dropping part), but more often than not it messes with my composition. I've tried swipes and other techniques that don't necessarily require tilting but honestly ring pours and straight pours like this are my favorite. I'm open to suggestions. Lol.
@GinaDeLuca

You could use a spinner and you won’t have to tilt at all, but you could also use the spinner to turn it so you could tilt each side.

2 Tbs (1 Tb paint + 1 Tb satin enamel)+ water doesn't seem like enough paint. Can I add floetrol or a pouring medium to get more volume?
@GinaDeLuca
2 ай бұрын
It depends on how much you need. It’s scaleable. You could do 1oz of paint, 1oz of satin enamels and 4 oz of Floetrol. You could even do 3 parts Floetrol to extend further. That can lead to some feathering with metallics though.
@GinaDeLuca

Oh. I see. You missed the 2 parts Floetrol part. Yes. It’s mixed with Floetrol.

Hi Gina, I love this but I am confused with the flowtrol. You said 1 part paint to 2 parts floetrol. In that measure are you including the satin enamel or that is not counted. Sorry for my confusion.
@kerravonsen2810
Жыл бұрын
I'm not Gina, but I'll explain. First you mix equal parts of your paint and the satin enamel. You then count *that mixture* as one part, and add two more parts of floetrol. To give a concrete example, if you had 10ml of paint, then you add 10ml of satin enamel, and you have a mixture which is 20ml mixed paint. Then you would add two times that - 40ml - of floetrol.
