You are 100% correct this years team will look somewhat different next year, of course there is a lot of positives this year from the past such as this will be the first season that Brock can be with no question the guy, no healing, major reps and just about every player must be thinking I got to shine this year in case I get cut in 2025.

This really is the last season to push for a Super Bowl. That's why this draft is pretty important, they need to hit on their first two picks to set them up for the future to quickly rebound them from losing core players in free agency. Also the 49ers are set to gain $18 mil in cap space in June from the Armstead release, so that should help a little. Gonna be some tough decisions for John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan in 2025, but I still think the team will be a contender as long as CMC is on the team.

That’s facts bro.. I really hope they get it done this year. Those core players deserve a ring before the inevitable changes we know are comin. This team has been and still is STACKED with AP/PB dawgs all over the field. I agree, we need to hit the draft picks this year but as you said.. as long as Brock keeps ballin with CMC in the backfield, the team has a chance

Trent Williams may be the oldest, but isn't he the most likely they'll keep? They have absolutely no succession plan to him. They don't have anyone on the team that can take over his spot. And they didn't even try to get somebody who might replace him in the future in the draft this year. It seems unlikely they will have a draft spot to replace him next year?

They can't franchise tag Brandon Ayiuk. He's already under contract for 14 million in 2024.

Trent Williams was not part of the Super Bowl after the 2019 season. Joe Staley was still the left tackle.
