Beautiful landing…didn’t even hear the gear touching down on the runway. Nice to hear the 717 roar again.

The engine sounds like one of those Embraer RJ145 regional jets...lol. Good video of the landing.

Bother the ERJ-145 and the 717 employ Rolls Royce engines, so it makes sense that they sound familiar. Thanks for watching my friend!

Great fly! Have you ever fly to/from San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU)?

I haven’t no. I’ve tried a couple times and been foiled by tropical storms or hurricanes each time.

Hey Skylite. Another great "fly", or should I say flight. LOL. Got your email this morning. I hope you get some do-able solutions for the computer. Love the buzz-saw engines on take off. The only improvement Boeing or McDonnell Douglas could have done would have been to strap a couple of GE90s on instead of the RR BR700s. All the best to you and your family. Will write soon.

Unfortunately I have yet to deal with my computer. I woke up yesterday morning with A horrible stomach bug, puking my guts out all morning. So I had to reschedule my appointment for tomorrow.

Yes. Hawaiian and Delta both still operate large 717 fleets.

Oh, I know 727s we’re not in service so I thought the older 717 would also be out of service

Boeing doesn’t number their aircraft in numerical order from their production time. The 717 is much newer than the 727. The 717 was originally the McDonnell Douglas MD-95. The successor to the MD-90, but it was bought out by Boeing when they purchased McDonnell Douglas in the late 90’s.

WOWOWOWOW!!! Great views!!! I'm playing my Bobby Zee and Zoe Christmas CD, and it fits this video perfectly, makes perfect background music. Those 717 engines have some serious power. I feel your jetlag coming in from MCI.

I’m about to feel the jet lag tonight, let me tell you. I just landed in LA from Honolulu, I now have a 6 hour layover, and then a overnight redeye from LA to Tampa. Give me strength 😂.

It’s just me my friend. In fact I’m in the middle of a 5 day trip right now, writing this reply from LAX. There has never been any footage posted on my channel that I didn’t film myself.
