Super sharp! 👌 But you strop at about 25 degree angle, and tilt the blade up at the end of the leather strop. Better, to keep the sharpening angle steady.

@@iSharpen Yes, I watched it. Indeed a shallower stropping. I’m not convinced by the little bumps on that leather. IMO they work similar to a slightly steeper stropping angle. I prefer flat leather on a hard surface and find it most important to strop at the exact grinding angle. The leather is flexible and will get the very edge at few degrees steeper angle. First I strop with 3 mikron polishing compound, and the finish with 1mikron or just very smooth leather. Inbetween I use few times a hanging tensioned dish towel and few light but fast passes at 45 degree angle to get rid of half lose burr. Did you use any polishing compound on the roo tails?

@@TrainToTent still probably my sharpest Global G2 ever. That horizontal slice on the cigarette paper is still a cunning stunt just by itself.

@@iSharpen I'm getting a whole set of them Global knives in for sharpening later this afternoon I can already tell I'm not gonna get them as sharp as yours 😔 Are they any hard to sharpen? What HRC are they?
