Goodbye to Virgin America in the final farewell :(

我的朋友福康! I am so glad to see you again! I figured that you have been very busy lately, but I gladly wait patiently for you to make another one of your videos, which I truly enjoy. I have read the comments some of your followers have made with interest in regards to how sad they seem to be about Virgin America going away (midnight, 24 April 2018). Actually, it is being bought by Alaska Airlines. Although the aspects of economics can be very detailed, the reason Virgin America will be no longer is because Americans have made inexpensive flights their priority. To put it bluntly, Americans would rather ride on a farm truck than pay $20 more to ride on something nicer. Personally, I like nicer things for a lot of reasons, and I do not mind if I have to pay $100 more to be comfortable. That is why I have decided that if I am to fly to Europe, I’ll fly Lufthansa or British Airways. If I have to fly to Asia, I’ll fly Eva Air, ANA, Asiana, or Korean Air. If Americans desire to fly less expensively, that is perfectly fine and that is their business. But, you cannot not have nice things unless you spend more money. You asked me for my opinion regarding your videos. Because you are such a nice man, I have thought about it a great deal. Just make them longer, show more, never fast forward your video, but above all, do what you would like to do. If your followers become impatient, it is easy to run the mouse pointer over the progress line and jump ahead to where they would like to start watching again. I have many reasons for my suggestions, and to begin, I thoroughly enjoy the resolution of your camera and to open up the video to full screen to watch your videos. It is almost as if I am there, experiencing the action with you. Additionally, I have never seen the airports and the aircraft you fly. So, being curious, I like to look at everything. I also stay looking out the window whenever I fly, so all that goes on with the control surfaces on the wing are very interesting to me. Briefly, those are my suggestions. However, I know you have other followers, and I prefer to keep them happy more than I think of myself. If you do not wish to incorporate my suggestions, it will not bother me. I’ll still keep returning to watch. Thank-you so much for the time and effort you put into making your videos. Please keep up the good work. 乾杯!

Hi Guerry my friend, I am glad to see you again too! I was blocked by the great wall of internet in China for the past couple weeks. I had the video ready for upload but I couldn't get around that. The good news is that I traveled to many places and took new flights. Now I am back to the US and I will try to share these experience as soon as possible. To pay or not to pay for a more comfortable seat is always a tough question for me. Usually, when looking for a flight on Google flights, I lean toward the cheaper option and think about how much money I could save. But when I decide to pay extra, once onboard, I immediately feel that it is worth the premium. Maybe that means the airlines put proper price tag on their premium products. Thank you for the extremely detailed opinion regarding my videos! I will certainly take it into account for my future videos. I am trying my best to post more videos soon. Due to my recent travel and other works, I may not be able to publish them on time. Please come back soon for new videos or hang out with other viewers!

My good friend. Please take your time to post your videos. Although I am looking forward to seeing them with great enthusiasm, I thoroughly understand that you have other priorities with work and your home life. Besides, I want you to take your time so you enjoy posting them just as much as I enjoy watching. Consequently, as always, I will periodically check back to see if you have posted. Thank-you again for thinking of us and doing such a great job!

Thank you very much! Virgin America used to be one of my favorite US carriers. Let's see how Alaska does with these Airbus
