As a former bodyshop worker, I think that using bondo on a Dino 246 GT is an lack of respect for this car. The metal should be put back into shape with more care, and a minimal amount of lead should be used to prep it before primer.

I completely agree. Proper tin smith would not have gone this route.

I think you do what the customer wants to pay for....this Dino looks to have a lot of filler, hard to just metal finish this repair.

I cant read Japanese vary well. but i can understand a bit. So a small amount of talking about the task would be cool. And help me with my Japanese. Your videos are awesome for me because i love exotic cars and Japan!!
Correct and nice work . My respect for that. But in the second hand , this reparation is not the authentic style of body work, as sonomaniaque mentionned that
Why is that? Because he used filler? Well, true, it's maybe not the best way to do it but as already stated, you do what the customer wants to pay for. Nothing wrong with the finished job in my opinion and the paintwork looks flawless...
SEXY BOY 様、おっしゃる通りです。新車時からごってりパテ盛ってありますよね。全部落とすと元のラインがわからなくなるので、こちらの板金方法で宜しいかと。フルレストアなら、ボビレフのようにキッチリと板金して面を作ってウレタン2kでバリバリに仕上げるのもいいとは思いますが、納期とご予算があるので一般的にはまあアレですねえ(笑)
