thank you so much for this superb video! unfortunately, tourists like me who visit during the more typical and popular end march to early april period will not get to see this on 23 April! Perhaps I should stop chasing blossoms in Tokyo and Kyoto.... Can you share some other parks that have as amazing cherry blossoms scenery like this at Hirosaki Park? Thank you so very much.

sorry, forgot to say I am going to see cherry blossoms in Japan again next year. Am so so in love with cherry blossoms! Still thinking of them so much :). I am open to explore any as amazing cherry blossom parks as this park. Thank you.
I was at Hirosaki during their winter lantern festival on Feb 9-11. Snow came down like a blizzard when the lanterns lit up. It was like clockwork lol.

Hi, am planning a winter trip to Japan for next January. Was in Hokkaido for the Sapporo Snow Festival this February and am very disappointed with the minimal snow fall during my stay. I saw another youtuber posted his visit to Aomori this February and there wasnt much snow too, looked like how it was in Hokkaido when I was there. What dates were you in Aomori and did you experience a lot of snow? I want to go where there is the most snowfall in Japan. Any recommendations would be highly appreciated.

@@live2travel70 I also went to the Sapporo Snow festival before I went to Aomori/Hirosaki and there was lots of heavy snowfall during my 4 days there (Feb 7-10) earlier this year. What dates did you go? If it was Feb 4-6, I heard there was no snowfall. When I arrived in Hirosaki/Aomori, there was no Snow until about 5pm Feb 11 and it was blizzard like conditions. Heavy snowfall. Best experience for snowfall in my life. As for when to go, that’s pretty much luck based if you want to go when snow actually falls. But Feb, when I went earlier this year was fantastic.
