explanation
Coincidentally, I met with people from the Yanaizu Town Hall near Kokuzodo, which is near the commercial aerial photography site, and received special permission to use the ground as it was a Monday and there were few tourists, so the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. I took an aerial photograph of Namiki's Kokuzodo. I hope that someday Kokuzodo will also receive permission to take aerial photographs and use it to promote tourism in Aizu. Even after the cherry blossoms have bloomed, be sure to try Kokuzodo, which is said to bring good luck, and the famous Awa Manju.

There is a ``Akabeko legend'' that explains why Yanaizu Town became the ``birthplace of Akabeko.''
In the Tohoku region of Japan, "cow" is called "beko".
About 400 years ago, in 1611, a major earthquake struck the Aizu region, destroying Kokuzodo, monks' buildings, and private houses, and Yanaizu Town was also severely damaged.
Kokuzo-do (main hall) was first built in 1617 after the earthquake, at the current location of Genjo, but when they were having trouble transporting large pieces of lumber to Genjo to rebuild the main hall, the Buddha's guidance came. A herd of powerful-looking red-haired cows appeared out of nowhere, helped the black-haired cows who were having trouble transporting large timbers, and were able to successfully build the Kokuzodo (main hall).
The red-haired cow that worked hard to help was called ``Akabeko,'' and it came to be known by many people as ``Akabeko,'' a symbol of patience and strength that also brings good fortune. This legend is the reason why Yanaizu Town is said to be the "birthplace of Akabeko".
