There’s so much land at Hung Hom now that the old platforms have been abandoned and also the old freight yard landings. It would be the perfect location for a new Hong Kong Railway Museum!

I hope E44 will be preserved and sent back to Britain for preservation.
For KCR Metro Cammell EMU the AWS TPWS DSD switches are behind the driver which is where the open panel at the driver's cab passenger compartment divider is located. Between E44 unrefurbished and the The maps don't make a bliping sound and the gangway Connectors don't have doors to access them Which is seen on the renovated ones. China Railways HXD DF & SS class locomotives that must run to Hong Kong Huang Hom station must be equipped with CTCS Beijing-Wuhan Guangzhou Lo Wu then AWS TPWS DSD Lo Wu-Huang Hom in addition to KCR Metro Cammell EMU Pantographs. Reason for this was that KCR help from British railways for modernization.
