Before I ran this channel full time, I worked in a job that had a small part in the process of getting donated organs to their new homes as quickly as possible. It's really an amazing process, not even including the part where someone was generous enough to donate their organ when they pass on to being with. Thanks for watching my friend!

Flew this equipment quite a bit years back. SeaTac to Wenatchee and SeaTac to Spokane. Mostly smooth and always scenic. Was Horizon Air back then.

It's still technically Horizon Air today, they just run the Alaska brand. Mostly haha. It's all a bit complicated now days. So, the Horizon Air brand was kind of taken away by Alaska Airlines so all planes flying for Alaska would be under the Alaska brand. Since Horizon is owned by Alaska Airlines, it made sense. However, then SkyWest started flying for Alaska too. So, to differentiate Horizon and SkyWest, they then added the name of the operator after the Alaska logo. So now, Horizon planes are actually branded as "Alaska Horizon." In the end the technical way to look at it is that they are Alaska Airlines (Operated by Horizon Air) now. Anyway, that's probably more info than you were looking for haha, but the bottom line is that it's still Horizon Air operating the flight. Thanks for watching my friend!

WOWOWOWOWOW!!!!! What great views!! Good view of the Terminal buildings at Sea-Tac Airport. Good views of the light rail line. Good views of Angle Lake. Good views of I-5. Good views of the South Center area and the Green River Valley. Good views of Renton, Lake Washington and Mercer Island. Good views of Lake Sammamish. Good views of I-90. Good view of the Alaska Airline Headquarters building. I had to do 4 days of training on the Apollo GDS back in 2001 in that building. They were 4 of the LONGEST days in my life! I never saw time crawl as slowly as it did during those classes. Those short flights on AK Airlines are definitely scenic, hands down. Fun fact: during the Nisqually earthquake in 2001, it blew out the windows of the ATC Tower. They eventually built a completely new tower that's MUCH more quake resistant. Yes, I did follow all instructions given by the flight crew, kept my seat belt fastened and my mask on.

Thanks my friend! I always enjoy your comments on the Pacific Northwest videos. I know I'm going to learn something and be a bel to tell exactly what I'm looking at. As someone who doesn't live in the PNW, but loves that part of the country, I quite enjoy reading all the insight you have about the area. Thanks!

Great fly! Have you heard Spirit is postponing shareholder vote for $2.4 billion sale to Frontier so they can continue discussing with JetBlue and Frontier? What do you think?

I’ve been noticing the title and then the explanation are two different things. The title says Seattle to SCS I believe it said but the description says Seattle to Spokane.
@sla31
2 жыл бұрын
Ah yes. I see the confusion. SCS isn’t an airport code here. Typically I have the airport code where the episode takes place. In this case, SEA. And then I list the aircraft’s tail number. However, on this episode I didn’t have enough characters left to include the number. So SEA - SCS ended up next to each other. SCS is the abbreviation I use for Short Clip Series ep. whatever. The series which this video is a part off. The last part is basically a coding system I use to keep track of everything and isn’t really any information about the video contents. If that all makes sense.
