Future reference you can cut the pin and use part of the pin to plug the housing.

My 1-2 had broken spring as well. Use 600 grit paper to smooth out any score marks from broken springs . Lots of meat on the o ring and teflon ring. Use #45 torque to hit top and score the check ball bore

Instead of using the ball, I cut the end off of the pins at a length that is the same diameter as the pin. I drove that in and then steaked it the same way as you would the ball. It is exactly the right size, so it won't split the 1-2 housing or swell the valve body.

That's a great idea and I had thought about doing what your saying after I had it back together because that's truly a much better way of doing it

Why put balls in the pin bores? As I recall they"re just bores for the pins, don't connect to any fluid passages.

I think I've got the same kit, I realized after installing the 1-2 ball first that the kit doesn't come with enough smaller balls. Need 2 for the forward accumulator. I've since looked it up and there's a version of the chinnax kit that comes with 4 small balls and 2 bigger ones. Make sure you get that one everybody! I swear it said sonnax when I ordered tho.. I measured the small one I had left, it's 0.230 same as the pin so I think they are actually the right size

Easiest way is to just cut the stock pins and not worry with the balls I should have done it that way but didn't think about it tell it was back together

With the 1-2 housing, why did you put it in there like that? I think you could've gotten away with a regular piston because that 1-2 shift is going to be super harsh.
