Great video to watch and then re watch later to get a refresher. I too have a 200 series. Bit older than yours. You have reminded me not to go to silly with spotlights so I ordered a set of orange LED from flea bay. I dont drive much at night as well and will replace the old Hella spotties that came wityh the truck. Love your videos. Looking for the one that you did with the platform that replaces the middle seats. Thanks again for your videos. Mick

Thank you for the kind words, I sincerely appreciate it. As you noted I have the two jerries in the rear bar carrier. I also have a 115 litre bladder that sits in the footwell behind the front seats. If we a going remote desert I will also pack another 20 litre jerry on the shelf over the drawers. I’m actually cutting a video on water management and storage which will detail that along with things like the shower and pump setup etc. Stay tuned for that one. Cheers😎👍

Hi Terry - great series of videos thanks. Is it possible please to provide any further info on the LEDs you have fitted into the bull bar to replace the standard ARB lights. Do you know if they are spread beams/fog lights or just small driving lights? I have searched ebay etc and can't find anything in that size with that format of 5 LEDs, so if you could provide a link or a pointer to the supplier that would be great. Cheers
@JafffaAdventures

Hi Chris, thanks for your feedback and kind words, I sincerely appreciate it. The lights are spread beams and illuminate well to the side of the road which is great to help see oncoming skippies. Regarding supply, someone else asked the exact same question a month or so back (it might even be in the comment Section). I checked eBay at the time (where I purchased mine) and could find nothing. That amazed me because when I bought mine they were a dime a dozen and multiple suppliers stocked them. I can only speculate that Covid has something to do with the supply issues currently. Sorry I could not point you to a supplier who has stock. Thanks again for watching Chris.😎👍

Jafffa Adventures no probs. I was going to ask about weight and GVM but will wait for the next installments as you may cover
@JafffaAdventures
4 жыл бұрын
I actually don’t cover the weight as I have never had it over a weigh bridge. Unladen I doubt it would be much heavier than stock as the second and third row seats are removed (and replaced with something lighter as vid 2 will detail). Having said that, because I have not weighed it before and after, it is a thumb suck. 😉

Thanks for the videos Terry. They are very informative and entertaining. I notice your shovel holder bolts hang downwards. Does that encourage them to come undone?
@JafffaAdventures
4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Paul, I appreciate you following along. You are very observant re the shovel holders mate, well spotted. I installed them in the upside down position intentionally to clearance the tent. The screw in portion of the holder is actually somewhat of an interference fit meaning there is a large degree of friction on the threads at all times. Given this fact I have never had them loosen on me. Good question!😎👍

Looking good mate. Great content as always. Is the RTT the bundatop king or standard? Best wishes Eric and Janet.
@JafffaAdventures
4 жыл бұрын
Thanks guys, as always I appreciate that you are following along. The RTT is a standard. I set a king on the car before I bought this one just to evaluate the overall size. It stuck out past the roof line way too far. Looked goofy and it would be prone to damage in tight tracks. If you are interested I have done a full review on the Bundutop, you can find it by browsing the historical vids. Cheers and thanks again👍

Hi Terry. Great video. I’ve just done the same with removing the 2nd row seats and building a storage box. My question is how do you store the seats while out of the vehicle? Cheers
@JafffaAdventures
3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the great feedback Drew, I sincerely appreciate it. I have the seats stored in my shed covered with a soft blanket. My logic there is that air can circulate around them minimising the potential for mould. So far so good. Have a great weekend Drew. Cheers😎👍

Hi Terry, Love the vids and love your rig. I also have a 200 with a Rhino roof rack HD cross bar type. You have 4 cross bars I see. I have 3 cross bars and want the forth (front) cross ba, I'm at a loss to find the front cross bar mounting pads. I've been to a Rhino dealer who said it can't be done then proceeded to try upselling a Backbone platform system and stating any DIY fitting is illegal blah blah. So my questiobn is where did you source the front pad mounts from? Or are they just a rear pad mount which seems about the same height?
@JafffaAdventures
2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your kind words Paul, I sincerely appreciate it. I bought the rack and crossbars as a kit from TJM on the Gold Coast 6 or 7 years ago. The rack came complete with the 4 cross bars pads and they are all branded Rhino. This Rhino dealer sounds like he is looking after his own interests and not yours to me Paul. Maybe they have changed the design since I bought mine, but it would surprise me if they reduced the number of cross bars and pads as that would weaken it in my estimation. Something is fishy. Perhaps try another Rhino seller and see if you get the same story? Sorry I could not be of more help mate. Cheers😎👍
