Amazing! I don't know how you don't have five million subscribers by now... From the tip of Alaska to the south of Australia, I follow you everywhere. Thank you sir, I travel through your eyes while I battle the cancer that took my freedom.

@@TheRoadChoseMe One more relatively simple surgery and I'll be back on the road! Central Maine to Tuktoyaktuk. I plan on leaving Maine Mid May. My longest trip ever, by far. Your "how to drive" Alaska videos were a huge inspiration and played no small part in my destination decision. Thank you sir, for all you do!

I think a video about the jeep would be interesting, what has been working well so far, have there been any issues? What does maintenance look like on the road etc

Excellent job Dan. I cannot believe how much you have improved since your Africa days. Even your Canadian days your videos are so much better now. Have you ever thought about doing short films? I’m sure you know who Andrew Saint Pierre White is there in Australia. His channel 4x Overland. You know he teaches online classes on how to be a filmmaker. I think you should take a serious look at doing that. You could be the next Warren Miller on wheels instead of skis. Now don’t laugh at me that’s not bullshit you have a fabulous way of telling stories and I think you could bring all your stuff together and I think you could do some excellent short films that could be shown in many places and heard you were really good living. You should contact Andrew and talk to him about it

How are those Yokohama Geolander tires holding up? It's time for me to get a new set of rubber, that's why I'm asking. Any flats? Or unusual wear?

Looks so remote. Passing that road train would scare the crap out of me on a tiny two lane road 😝 How has traveling with a partner been since you have always been alone on other trips?

This was fantastic Dan! The book on this expedition will be the Bible for Australian adventure! You sir, know how to make a real overland channel and know how to make it epic. All the other channels pale by comparison. You plan, you build what you need based on experience, you go on these incredible trips and you know how to document them. No BS, you just get on with it. Well done my friend! And that mail box is hilarious! P.S. can’t wait for the boomerang lesson.🪃 Lol

I’m looking forward to your take on the Canning Stock Route. Other channels that make the trip, prepare like a full-on military expedition. I believe your Jeep will make easy work of it! ( just another day in 4wd) Dan, had you considered running cables from your bull bar to the roof rack to protect your windshield? (ala Camel Trophy ) might be helpful in the thick brush.👍
