I am by far a tree hugger but also understand that we, the collective off-roading community, have a responsibility to demonstrate responsible wheeling, especially when publishing on the internet, regardless of where you wheel. I'm not going to argue the semantics of running over young growth trees, other than to reiterate the importance of being an example for the next generation since many of the freedoms we enjoy on public lands are vanishing faster than those trees that got mowed over. Perception is reality my friend and unfortunately, the "perception" is that you (this group) are irresponsible, ignorant and the reason tree huggers exist. Think first, then act. On a side note, I like the older Fords. My crawler has the 78 Snowfighter D60 up front. Been a great axle! Have fun and be safe!

that's cool. Don't mean to sound like I'm bashing, just hate getting our trails taken away from us each year by finatics that don't even know all the GOOD we do for the trails. I personally don't have a problem with the trees, but video only helps their cause, not ours. But sense you used it for firewood, that's awesome, hopefully the tree huggers, read that in our post. :) happy 4 wheeling guys. I can't wait to get to alaska next month.

Ford owns the finace company that handles 75% of the laons for their trucks, they have a vested intrest in making sure their trucks sell. I have owned three Fords in my life, put them through the same hell I've put my ONE Chevy through, still have the chevy, sold one Ford for parts, one caught fire and the other is rusting in the desert some where.

I run 45psi in my Ford. You don't drive a Cummins Engine because it is physically impossible. Ford makes the absolute toughest work truck on the market and it is stupid to deny that. The PSD was never designed to be put in a semi, it was designed to be put in a light duty truck. You seem to know little to nothing about any of this.
