Nice work on the rebuild. Just be careful when you put ARP fasteners on stock parts, check your clearences on the rod bearings and check for distortion. The ARP bolts will squeeze the rod bearings more and you will have to send your rods/ mains to get re line honed. If you want to avoid this then its best to buy another set of torque to yield rod bolts.

That's really good advice. I haven't heard of Hemis having that issue, but I've definitely heard of that in the LS motors. I'll say, I got lucky, the rod bearings looked perfect!

@Fed Up Fab ... I considered buying one of them a while ago, but I bought a 7875 cast VS Racing turbo (T4 .96 a/r)... good for 700hp to the rear wheels (according to what vsr said)... $399

Could you explain why and how the ring gap works and needs adjustment for turbo? (And towing)

Boost makes more heat in the combustion chamber. More heat equals more ring expansion. Factory ring gap on newer engines with tighter emissions standards are pretty tight, as the closer you get to butting the ring ends at operating temp, without butting them up, the less blowby you get. However, when you start heating them more, you stand the chance of the ring ends butting up and locking in the cylinder... which will bust out the ring lands immediately. You can get around it some by tuning richer for cooler combustion temps, but you're sacrificing efficiency, so power/fuel mileage and increasing emissions, and it's still riskier than just having more gap. Gap should actually be calculated by bore diameter and boost, but a 5.7 can do 14-15 pounds of boost at .025-.030" gap (it's typically the top ring that will lock if/when it does, as it's closer to the combustion and is quite high on factory pistons to reduce dead zone, so it sees a lot of heat). Hope that makes sense.

Most probly nothing wrong with transmission. They go into limp mode when a speed sensor goes bad. Replace conductor plate located on top of valve body.

I thought about trying to fix it, but the whole harness was so hacked on that car it would have been a nightmare. Someone just cut off a ton of connectors and sections of wire. I'm surprised it even ran!

I've heard the 6.4s are a little weaker piston. But if I could get my hands on one I'd like to find out!
