You've done it again. Didn't know about dub/alt tracks and sorting devices. Can you do more tips. They are so so useful!

The “grid” is a great first tip for sure, honestly if reason would just merge the “drum sequencer player” features, “into” the grid, like the “upward slide” tabs at bottom of lanes, to adjust repeats, velocity, etc for individual notes on fly, it would be unstoppable, but even as it is now its great, especially starting out

Tip 1 duplicating stuff - Ahhh they should just add select time region like almost every other DAW has. Every time I switch between Bitwig and Reason this annoys me. Tip 2 - Hoping for an auto dub or auto alt which would create a new one at each loop and allow you to just keep going (like how take lanes work).

More great tips. Question: when creating an instrument track, say a Subtractor and I name this track, say, Bass, Reason will change this name to the name of the instrument’s patch name when a different patch is selected. I’d like the name to remain Bass (until I decide to change it). Is there a way around this? Thanks.

Name it by typing the name in the sequencer. Not the Mixer or rack. Thanks for watching!

question, why does the velocity on notes only work in the nn xt, not redrum and kong?
@itsdjQuasar
Жыл бұрын
For Redrum there is a "vel" knob you can turn up per channel that tells Redrum how much velocity affects the volume of the sample. The Kong is automatically velocity sensitive. Thanks for watching!

Hey I'm a little slow, I'm not understanding how you're zooming in and out using your cursor.
