I don't know why ice breakers have become a thing. They personally make me uneasy and i have never felt a connection to others when forced to participate. Icebreakers do the opposite for me making me feel separate from others that want to participate.

Thank you for your comment. I personally don't think that anyone should be forced to participate. All the icebreakers should be optional ;-)

People really go in for this stuff.... I always avoid these like the plague it doesn't help with anything in I've known these to have the reverse effort some people might not want to share things about themselves etc.. These things don't make you better at your job

The goal of icebreaker games is not to make you better at your job - but to connect with your teammates. I agree with you that they are not for everyone, therefore the participation should be optional. Thank you for your opinion ;-)
