I hope that these videos stay accessible on you tube for years and years and years. This is the stuff that makes you tube worthwhile. You changed lives and you will continue to change lives for generations to come. Sadly, the lesson will be "how to live while you're dying". I wish things would have worked out differently for you Em, you deserved so much more than what you got (time wise). I still watch you daily, I just go through the 247 videos that I've found over and over. You remind to remember what's really important in this life.

✨Emily: My wife, TwinkleMom, has watched all of your videos and introduced me to your channel a couple of months ago, when we started watching them together. You are positively heroic. Your attitude, your strength of character, your self-discipline and your love of life are inspiring. And Aisha is a lesson in what a friend/lover/Guardian Angel should be. We feel the pain and tragedy of your setbacks and we rejoice in the excitement and hope of your successes - at home, in the gym and everywhere else. You are a gem. You and Aisha, together, are a model of what we all should aspire to be to one another. We hope you live a long and fruitful life. Regardless, your impact is already being felt around the world. It's true how amazing your country's healthcare is. With my brother's cancer it put my family into debt. We didn't care we'd go as far into debt as needed for him to get his treatment but it was still incredibly difficult to see my mom have to go through bankruptcy right after losing her 16 year old son and we had to move out of our family home that we grew up in to a tiny apartment. We are doing better now and my mom is finally able to afford more things 9 years later. Although her credit will never be the same.

Junk Rabbit this is so sad. I think everyone should get free health care, I don’t understand why some parts of the world have to pay yet other’s don’t. I can’t imagine what that must be like to get into such debt and to loose your family home and still years later trying to make ends meet. Some people just don’t understand do they 😢 So grateful for Emily that this isn’t the case Thank god she gets free health care. Thankyou for sharing this 👍🏻😊x

jen goldfinkle Thank you and I agree. I'd gladly pay more in taxes to ensure another family doesn't have to go through what we did or worse because they or a family member got sick. I remember when I got a kidney stone a couple years ago and I had to go to the ER. I was in kind of a long hallway and each bed had curtains for "privacy" but mostly you pretend like you can't hear to try to give everyone else a bit of respect. There was a man next to me who I could hear was in extreme pain and was sobbing, I could overhear the nurses in the hall talking about his case, he had terminal cancer but no insurance. They could only give him the bare minimum which didn't include pain medication. I was horrified and beyond thankful that I had insurance that covered my visit, I wanted so badly to ask if they could give him my pain meds and to charge me instead but that's illegal. Horrible that people have to go through that everyday here in the US

I agree and think the fundamental difference between America and Britain is that healthcare is a business in America and as such the drug companies have no interests in pricing competitively for their drugs, they sort of price fix between them which keeps the costs of drugs so high in America which makes the treatment costs and also prescription costs so high No country has free healthcare though Jen, in Europe we have free at the point of contact care, as we pay taxes which then pays for the NHS along with police and other services and also our pension is provided for by the taxes we pay in so we will all receive a state pension. So say somebody earns $75k per year in America they take that amount home and then decide what to do with their money, whereas in Europe you would only receive $57k as the Government takes $18,000 of it in tax before you receive it and then provides health care and other services for us, The British public know that at some point somebody we love or care about will need the NHS, even if we personally will not have use for it, we all agree as a country that we pay our taxes and it covers the entire country, even people who do not work or pay any tax. It doesn't cause any resentment and I think it gives us a sense of unity and all pulling together for our country and I think most Brits if asked would say that the NHS is one of things we are most proud of as a country.

They won't give you pain meds in the US if you don't have 'insurance'? Surely you're kidding... how is that a 'civilised society'? That's inhumane, I hope what you're saying isn't true, surely there would be an uproar? They shouldn't be allowed to do that...

We thought it was clear until March 14th and he had a seizure and we then found out he had 3 brain tumors. He had brain surgery and shoulder surgery the following week. He had shoulder surgery because the seizures were so violent he messed it up. I am watching your videos to help find someone to relate to. It's not the same situation but he is really struggling with it all. Thanks for sharing your story.

Emily! You're so right! I live in the U.S. You would pay so much money for that type of care..I couldn't even imagine...most likely lifelong debt. I know people with thousands upon thousands in medical bills. It has ruined their life. It's not their fault that they got sick. On top of that, you would probably still have to wait an hour and a half to see the doctor for all of 5 minutes or so..he would rush in and out. Waiting times are still long and sometimes it takes months to even get an appointment.

It’s amazing how positive she was through everything, I had one brain tumour which was removed a few weeks ago and although I only spent two weeks in the hospital I got so depressed and fed up being there. I found out last week that my brain tumour was malignant so although it’s been removed I need to get radiotherapy to remove the cancerous cells that were left behind. I’m not super depressed but I’m not really feeling myself after all that’s happened and have no motivation to go out and do things so it’s amazing that she was so positive considering she had so much going wrong medically.

I am Canadian but I’ve also lived and worked in the U.S. for 16 years ( in a hospital ) so I’ve seen and experienced both medical systems and I’m all in for the “free” healthcare so when I hear people complaining about wait times, well I guess I should just laugh about that too ... I’m not bashing either side as I’ve had great care with both, to be clear. Big big virtual hug to the both of you ❤️

Brits- don't ever let them take the NHS away from you! Here in the US, even with insurance, people can find themselves unable to pay for treatment. So many times, insurance companies won't approve meds and treatments that they deem to be unnecessary or too experimental. People try to scare us by saying that with nationalized health, we'd have to wait weeks to see a doctor- we often do already! As I watch these, I've been so thankful that Emily didn't have to worry about costs in addition to everything else.

Did you see where the brain tumours are? For instance are they surrounding your original one? Or new places. I originally watch for educational purposes, now I love you two ❤️ lovely couple. Praying for you xxx

AWESOME! Staying on the meds. Emily, I think you have so much muscle in your legs from working out, that it has to be helping! Did the Drs. Tell you the size of the brain tumors? You both are so awesome ❤️💜‼️

Your positive attitude is inspiring. Only recently started watching your videos. Totally understand Aisha comment about it’s funny how healthy Emily is, apart from the Brain tumors. Your appreciation for the NHS (in Australia we have Medicare) at a time when your personally going through so much says a lot about your good character. Love the videos, keep them coming.
