I am a buzzbait fanatic and all five of the tips you gave are excellent advice. I like a copper blade in relatively clear water and bumping into logs or rocks or even hanging up on the edge of grass beds when it pulls free will generate a lot of bites. Thanks for the confirmation 👍

Sunday at around midnight i lost the biggest bass of my life on a buzzbait (D&M Custom Baits Easy Roller, all black) she broke me off right at the bank. It sounded like a bowling ball was thrown in the water when she bit. My PB is 6.18 and this big girl felt MUCH heavier…at least 8+ which is a giant for Indiana. I’ve had more success on quality fish with SLOW MOVING PLASTIC BLADES. If you haven’t tried them Tyler (and anyone else reading this comment) you should!

Yep. I used clear 4 blade replacement on a Jamaica Boa last night for a couple of hours before dark and caught a 7.23lb, 5.71lb., 5.19lb. 3.79lb and 11 more smaller ones... vary my retrieve like it's trying to escape the bass following right behind it watching it...

I have never caught a bass on a buzz bait. I have caught bass on whooper plopper. The first time I threw a buzz bait I wasn’t impressed with the sound. I’ll be trying it again and try to follow your suggestions.

I throw a buzzbait on heavily pressured small bodies of water in NC all year long and it catches giant fish and numbers in places where you'd swear there's no fish from how hard it is to get bit. On bodies of water that aren't pressured I have caught 30 bass in 30 minutes with a buzzbait. Well worth learning.

Not removing the plastic off the bottom of your rods bugs me, however I get it haha. When i use a buzzbait should the bait be semi submerged i noticed my picaso bait sits like that, and my booyah buzzbait sits higher just wondering if its bait difference or if i should retrieve the picaso faster or if it matters

Tyler have you tried clacking buzz baits? It has a metal piece where the blade hits it and it’s very loud

I've heard a lot of pros teach against using the clacker buzzbaits but I've never used one
@Ardeact

@@adammitchell3462 You can bend the pieces out to make it not clack but the extra metal probably weighs it down
