I have the easiest tip to NOT CRY when chopping onions! (I know you mostly use your chopper, but in case you don't, try this: wet a paper towel and put it on the cutting board next to the onion. THAT'S IT! Apparently, onions have an acid that's attracted to water, which is why they attack our eyes. But the paper towel attracts the acid instead because it's more water. I can't believe this trick; you should try it and tell your other subscribers! The fact that I've been chopping them for years without this trick is incredible. No more tears, hahaha 🤯

If you double the recipes, you can freeze it & pull it out when you don't have a clue on what to cook or for whatever reason. I had cataract/glaucoma surgeries at the beginning of 2020, I double 4 recipes & it was enough for 16 meals over my healing process.

Chicken pot pie biscuits looked really nice. The last time I cut white onions, I thought my eyes would fall out of my head, they were so powerful it really made me tear up. A chopper would have been so nice to have. I bought a little hand chopper, but you have to put like 1000 lbs. of force behind it to get it to work. So it is basically useless. Maybe putting your biscuits on a piece of parchment paper would help. They also make cookie sheets, that are two layers, with an air layer between the bottom sheet of metal and top sheet of metal, which is supposed to give you a more gentle even heat. Perhaps your cookie sheet was to low in your oven and too close to the heating element. Oh and buy a cheap - hang in your oven - thermometer, perhaps you oven temp is off and is running hotter than what your dial says. Most ovens get out of whack eventually and run too hot or too cold. Especially if you have a 'slide the bar over' to clean your self cleaning oven, that can tend to throw off your temp in your oven, as it gets your oven very hot to burn off all the burned on food. A thermometer is a good idea for your refrigerator and freezer too.

Two solutions for the burnt biscuits or even for burnt cookies. I know it's not ideal but it can save the day to some degree. You can either use a cheese grater or lemon zester and scrape it off or if you're really good with a very sharp knife you can just cut a very small layer off of the burned portions.
