@swagnation3459
6 жыл бұрын
Bladed Angel Not sure if a source from 16 years ago might be the best, but your argument is very understandable. SUVs have a high center of gravity meaning a rollover is more likely, worse gas mileage and cumbersome/hard to maneuver in the city. I mean, at least if you want to flex you can get an entry level luxury car, or a used s-class for about the same price as a crossover where most wont even take it more off-road than a gravel path. As with practicality, space and safety, a Volvo or a Subaru wagon are very good choices, because according to IIHS, almost every single model of every single model year from these 2 manufacturers have scored “good” or “acceptable” ratings in all crash tests. But if you want a crossover with zero advantages whatsoever (Higher depreciation as well), then go for it.

Chances are the next car I'm going to want is a sedan. What's most unfortunate is the hate of wagons in the US. On the other hand, wagons, like the Acura TSX version weren't too sleek in their design. In all honesty, my number one all time choice for wagons or sedans has to be that outrageous Audi RS-6 station wagon with the V10 twin turbo. That was one of the most insane engines at the time. Audi didn't even utilize that particular engine configuration in the R8. Audi's most powerful engine was in a station wagon!?! In addition, I remember when Honda had a very sleek Accord wagon on wide Advan rims, coilovers, and finally understood that wagons could be made cool. Either way, a lot of men are buying SUV's as well. I call that the pussification of many men in the US.

Crossovers are extremely bland and are a borefest. Any arguments supporting them and SUVs are highly illogical and have terrible fuel economy which will backfire in a few years and I could go on and on. It's three things; snow, tow, gas milage...Trucks are great towing and snow vehicles but they suck gas. Sedans have great milage but the tow is iffy as the profile is less than the tow object, also not great in the snow. The only choice was really the compact/crossover. It doesn't do anything well but it doesn't really suck at anything.

So here is something I’ve been really thinking about, I know my current truck that is my daily is Starting to looks like it’s not going to last long, so I’m thinking of what my next car should be, I.really want something practical but sporty and somewhat safe (Michigan insurance prices is the highest in the US) so what should I get here are some options that are on top • Chevy Colorado Z71 • Subaru WRX (not the STI, that’s a 25% insurance increase over the base WRX) • Dodge Charger AWD • Ford Taurus SHO police interceptor Also if you have any other suggestions let me know

Ralliarts are pretty underrated, they dont have as much horse power as the newer imprezas (wrx) but imo they look much better and they are not that much slower, only problem is no manual. But they have a propper dual clutch system

I don't know about the US.. But here in the Philippines where floods are a common dilemma, Crossovers and SUVs are much more practical because they have alot of ground clearance, also they are perceived to be more spacious at first glance due to their form factor.. I for one don't really like Crossovers or SUVs, I see them as a utility vehicle and nothing more, however most people look for utility in their vehicles, and is for this reason why as much as I hate to say it, I don't think the Crossover/SUV fad is going away anytime soon..

I know I'm going to get extremely hated for this, but I think the Tesla Model 3 deserverd being in this list. It fits the price range, it's quite fast and fun to drive and it's pretty practical (note that I'm not one of those irrational Tesla lovers, I just like this car, and think it could've been here).

Toyota is an American Toyota division at this point. Many USDM Toyotas (Notably the Toyota Camry and Avalon, two potential contenders for this list, the Camry XSE being around $35,000 new and the Avalon Touring being $43,000 new) are made here, with around 98% of the parts made here, I think the only parts that aren't are the head units and a few other electronics components.

I love the video, but your video description is entertaining. I am 22. I do not have the purchasing power to buy a new car, so companies will never notice my purchase.
