Shalom! Your video of Carmens Fantasy, when you were back in Belgrade, Serbia, captivates the hearts, minds and ears of all my violin students, and I ALWAYS play this video right after because they then go on to say things like "Wait, is that the girl who was playing the song we just heard?! Oh, Im definitely going to listen!!" You very much are inspiring people every day! Gracias! Danke shön! Merçi! Thank you!! (I literally cannot thank you enough for your contribution to music, in every way.) Stay well

Also, your bow technique tips are excellent. One's bowing habits can make all the difference. So happy your very first tutorial popped up on my KZitem list! Love all your performances...

You are one of the violinists who inspired me to learn the violin :) It was a year and 6 months ago. Why did you not told me back then that it will be so difficult lol and the I will have to play for at least 5 years to be good at it lol.

Got my wish to learn from you.....started with Cecilio Book. Stuck at lesson 11. Frustrated, the chin rest metal digs into collar bone. Bought Gliga Violin Romanian for better quality & to find sound I heard in my head! I experienced sound 7/8 & 4/4 size.....flamed beautiful. Self esteem sky rocketed! Stratovarius & wonderful Guarnari . 2-3 years already now. $$$$$ payments Got into the artistry of violin making because I paint too. People used shoulder rests I thought because of chin rest metal, not so, I think. More neck length or subconciuos..... Better quality Wolf shoulder rests OK. Now I use a shamey suade cloth folded & shoulder rests. . Really want NO chin rest rather hug my violin I like the sound vibration & hearing it better there. Still not doing it. Also, put violin down, frustrated wanted to make vibrato sound. Started looking for tips to learn.....been imagining how, it is starting to come naturally watching more violinists. In my mind. Then I discovered you. I found you expressive, controlled, deliberate, sure obviously but identified with your body angles, elbow & arms, wrists, hands, fingers fluidity airy connected bowing, the bow it seems to pull your arm, your free NECK, breaking away, outside contact visually to ALL things, really FEELING your instrument. Going back to the violin, never letting it go its a part of your body and extension of your inner voice. So obvious. I also notice how the motion of the bow is not always flat on the strings but it looks like it swivels on the strings, the hairs as it travels up & down. The bow is tight rigid magnitized but not glued to the strings. Lots to talk about, it is not like having a chance for professional teacher $$ in person with you, but thank you it is very endearing & I am blessed to find your humbling easy tips, a wish come true today, thank you. Lindalee. Funny my initials are LH

@@carolinetheviolinistofficial Humility and gratitude will always serve you well. I grew up around a lot of money and sometimes arrogance. It really is unattractive. You seem rather humble and genuine. I remember when I was a teenager and walking through a restaurant parking lot, heading inside. Ahead of me, in the last space, a red Ferrari parked. As I approached, I almost said nothing knowing the owner might get sick of compliments, but also I don’t like complimenting snobs. My eyes were glued to it and then a man emerged. Knowing that I shouldn’t prejudge him, I gambled, “Very nice.” His response taught me something. With complete sincerity, he replied, “Hey, thanks! I really appreciate it.” I was instantly glad that he owned it. Btw, I loved the long bow strokes you used at the end of Unchained Melody, and those by Mary Simpson at the end of The Rain Must Fall (Yanni) video. Take care.
