We normally set our targets that we have to study for a specific amount of time and we sometimes also achieve the target of studying that amount of time but we don't cover that much syllabus. So our targets should also include the topics needed to cover in that amount of time.

Try your best to understand the material rather than memorizing it. Doesn't matter if you "think" that the material is easy, I'm confident you will find the result you're looking for.

Nah man I have garbage memory and I do well with memorizing, I usually only understand the material midway through the lesson, but that might just be because I’ve got a nick for math which is the usual topic that I do memorizing with and I don’t put that nick to use
@tvvt005

But what if we just don’t understand the material even after trying many times?
@average7374

@@tvvt005 try working backwards you know, although it usually only works in math but if you work backwards from a solution in math you can better understand the process, but for other subjects I would do memorizing because the best way to understand basic knowledge that can’t be explained through numerical values is to memorize it and walk through the material to get better insight

1. Delayed note-taking: Delay note-taking after a lesson, allowing active listening, observation, and reflection before jotting down key points. 2. Inquiry-based learning: Engage in questioning and real-world application to deepen understanding and create links between topics. 3. Feynman Technique: Explain concepts in simple terms as if teaching them to a child, identifying gaps in knowledge. 4.Interleaved practice: Mix different subjects during study sessions to enhance memory and recognition of similar concepts. 5.Past papers: Practice past exam papers to understand question types, format, and identify areas for improvement.

I am always scared to try the delayed note-taking technique, because what if I forget something insanely important. Also the teacher never slows down for you, so you have to keep up with the teacher. Something I do though is jotting down most information, then afterwards when the teacher is not teaching anymore, review the information, simplify it down to the most important bits/organize it so you can understand it. Whether it be the examples or methods to use or what-not.
