I'm female, but I'm old and know that you should always start with a navy blazer. It's required dress at many prep schools. A tweed blazer can't be worn in the summer, whereas, navy can be worn year round. Your second blazer should be the Harris tweed or equivalent.

@@Gent.ZYou know…I was a little pessimistic T first when I started watching your videos. But, I am agreeing more and more on how important your information is to the young up and coming generation. Lost nowadays are manners, self care, self respect, generosity, empathy courtesy. And the list goes on. It is vitality important for up and coming men to become gentlemen and bring back the strong masculine man. Too long has men been attacked for toxicity, patriarchy, misogyny etc. A man who knows himself, respects himself will in turn treat others the same. Which, hopefully, will trickle down society. Hopefully, all men will become caring and strong individuals that will benefit society. I’ve worked very hard at be a better person. I grew up with nothing because my parents were broke. And couldn’t afford a lot of things that today’s generation currently have. Through the struggle. One develops a hard shell. A very hard shell. It is easy to become cynical and empty. Similar to what James Bond is. Your favorite model for comparison. My life is now what most would consider to be a dream. I have no needs. No wants. Just a quiet anonymous life with my wife and family. The hard part is that when you shoot for the stars. You become noticed. Aside from the haters who try to make your life difficult. Your life will become scrutinized by everyone. Think carefully if this is what you want. All for now.

Shoes - they MUST be clean and lightly polished. And in a good state of repair. Renew the heal and soles at a good cobblers and try not to wear them more than a couple of times per week to allow them to dry out. Shoe trees are great for keeping the shoe in shape. Antonio Centeno! How kind of him to reach out to you, well deserved! He really is one of the best in the game as you say, he was one of the first channels I discovered when I was learning how to dress, and he completely revamped my style, along with Aaron Marino at Alpah M, Ashley Weston who is now calling her channel Men's Fashioner, and Raphael Schneider over at Gentleman's Gazette. I have since seen a video Courtney Ryan made reacting to a pretty damn sexist video Aaron Marino did some years back, that he still hasn't apologized for to my knowledge, so now I have mixed feelings about Aaron. However, the rest of the time he's so fun and so gracious, and seeing him with his wife, he's the polar opposite of a true misogynist. All the same, I don't find myself watching him in recent years. In any case, thanks to Antonio and the company, I adore the menswear KZitem space. The video format is truly the best way to learn about style since style is a visual medium. I now own a handful of books on fashion and menswear, I own a pair of double monks, and various other things I never even wanted before I encountered menswear KZitem, and I consider dressing well to be a way to bring happiness into strangers' lives. It sounds corny but I know it's true for me, when I see a good outfit it makes my day better. "In a world full of Logan Pauls, be a Cary Grant." Ha, YES. 👏 Another great video and another great outfit. Thanks for reading my ramblings. Cheers to your style.

The "old money trend" is hilarious. As far as looks go, I prefer subtlety to flash. But insofar as the idea is to give the impression of wealth (without wealth), it's as much a pose as is slathering oneself in designer labels. Reminds me of that old Dr. Seuss story about the Star Belly Sneetches.

I love a nice blazer or sportscoat. For my work, wearing a suit and tie everyday would be overkill, but I still like to look professional and well put together each day, so for most days, blazers paired with open collared shirts and complementing pocket squares are the perfect compromise. I started off with mostly blues and greys, but recently I've also branched out to earthier colours like brown, forest green, and rusty red, and often in textured materials like wool or linen.

what an excellent video! All on point in terms of that 'old money' gravitas. You mentioned at the end of the video you were considering producing a video around general good manners and etiquette. I think this is a wonderful idea. There is a book 'Essential Manners for Men' by Emily Post. It's literally an A-Z on simple manners and etiquette in all situations and circumstances. Like all good manners its pretty much common sense but its a great read and its been a best seller for years, for good reason!

What do I do if my own wife is weirded out by my recent shift towards classic menswear? She’s a casual dresser and often prioritizes comfort, and I think she thinks it’s odd that I’m suddenly wanting to wear khakis and blazers. I can understand why she doesn’t quite get it, but at the same time, when we go out for dinner, I certainly don’t want to upstage her or make her feel bad that she’s not dressing up. Any tips on navigating this?
