You're the first person I hear emphasizing the importance of warming up with just the bar. Other than "lubricanting" your joints, it's important to do because you wanna feel the motion and feel out any pain you may have from either the previous session, bad sleeping position or movement you may have done unaware. Last thing you want is to realize there is something wrong with 60kg above your head and no spotter.
@peamutbubber

No literally, warming up releases lubricant inside ur joints, so that they slide easily and reduces friction. There are little sacs, can't remember what they're called

disagree on the importance of the unloaded bar movement... it's hard to feel the motion and the proper path without at least SOME resistance you can feel, and for a lot of people, the empty bar simply isn't enough to feel anything

yeah, not much can be done about the shape of the muscle... however, a lot of the perceived shape comes from the amount of fat tissue around the chest.... and MUCH can be done about that

I never really though about it much when people compliment my physique. I'm just like work hard, meanwhile I've been training for 21 years now plus good genetics. The fittest guys at the gym are 10+ year old veterans. Muscle development takes years of training.

I think genetics is important to calculate. I have a decent physique but I'm tall and lean. I just can't seem to get built like Simeon and so I don't bother. Understanding your genetics will help set reasonable, achievable goals.

When you did the underhand dumbbell pecfly on this video you used 20 lbs dumbbells. Is that just for a teaching purpose or in real life those are the weight you use. Looking at your size it looks like you can use heavier weight. Can you help explain that please? Thanks
