As a blue collar worker I always recommend Carhartt pants, shirts and boots

The Flint and Tinder waxed canvas jacket is the best piece of clothing I've ever bought. I highly recommend

Nice list, I have the OG F&T (kickstarter) ten year hoodie, and one of their original run of trucker jackets, with the all cotton herringbone lining. I like American Giant a lot too. A couple other ones (admittedly less expensive) that I buy regularly from, for Jeans, Dearborn Denim, which is made local here in Chicago, their prices are good and they make a nice jean with good fit and a little stretch. I also like the newly revived Jackthreads, the original owner is in charge again and they have really nice cotton stuff for the price. I also like Twillory for their performance button down shirts and MeUndies for their Modal undies and sweats. Once you go modal for underwear you don't go back to cotton.

Hey man, where's your head at on socks? I see a lot of young guys at the gym wearing high socks. I'm 42 and still wear ankle or no show socks.

For some reason there is an idea that younger people wear higher socks and older people wear shorter socks. I don’t know who started or why, but it’s a silly idea. I am always of the mind to dress to make your proportions look better. Unless you are super tall with really long legs, higher socks only make you look shorter. So I always suggest people wear short socks. I have a video on socks that I want to make, but it’s still a long ways out.
