Tip number 5 is so true. Though the first year is usually known as the awkward stage, it was actually quite interesting and I enjoyed every stage in different ways. Also, don't focus on your hair everyday and look at the mirror waiting for it to be long. It's better to be occupied with something.

Same thing happened to me. But my original hair wasn't really straight. It had a bend that made it into a stretched out C or S. The curling started 2 years ago. Now i have very pronounced S curls. Like Jon Snow kind of curl. Or maybe a little milder. And I find it very hard to grow out since i havent had this until 2 yrs ago. And i only tried to grow it out now because of covid causing my trusted barber to close his shop for idk how many months now. 😂 Imma keep at it and see if its worth growing out even more

A great way to know if you’ll go bald or not is by looking at your grandfather on your mother’s side of the family. Men’s hair genetics mainly comes from the mother’s side so if you’re mother’s father was bald at 40 years old you will most likely experience the same, on the other hand if they have their hair until 80 years old plus then you’ll most likely still have a good head of hair for most of your life.
