I understand some people have different opinions of what holographic means. I just want to let you know that these products are advertised as "holographic" and I'm not the one who named them. True holographic or not, they are all multidimensional and reflect different colours in light. I'm just trying these products out and showing you what they look like on my skin. My intentions aren't to upset any holographic lovers out there and I hope you understand.

we get it these products aren't actually holographic. you can stop referring to simply nailogical because she has already been here, left a comment, and told us holo sexuals to calm down. I've been a fan of her way before polish mountain so I get it. however you guys are trashing the comments in this lovely review by another amazing youtuber and it's frustrating. just enjoy the review and move on. Tina you look gorgeous here and these products looked lovely on you ^-^

Luna THANK YOU! I love Cristine as much as the next person but dang, I feel bad for her with how rabid her fans can be, giving anyone who doesn't know who she is a REALLY bad impression of her. I thought it was super classy of Cristine to comment on the video and she even kinda apologized for the rabid "holosexuals". I'll be honest, even after having watched her for a few years I still can't tell the difference between holo, iridescent, and shimmer... I just can't... I still love watching her videos though! And I love watching Tina!

I accidentally bought a VERY sparkly highlighter (yeah, I know, “accidentally” because I fell in love with the packaging and didn’t really paid much attention to how sparkly the product is and only realized my mistake when I put it on the day after). I like to wear natural makeup and I was kinda devastated. But I decided to try it on for one week with my usual natural makeup look and decide after whether I would keep it or buy another cheaper one. After one and a half month, now I’m LOVING the look the highlighter gives to my face lol. Makeup is a flexible field that really depends only on how the wearer prefers themselves to look.

I have most of these products and I can tell you out of all of them, if you are considering buying them, I would recommend the Kat Von D palette. It doesn't look like it in this video, but it is the most pigmented in terms of *duo-chrome* . The Mac ones are beautiful, but they are not really pigmented at all and I have to apply it like 5 times to get a good payoff (I have both of those colors, and show-gold is my favorite if those). The milk makeup stick is basically just regular purple (not really worth it in my opinion) and the Becca highlighter is WAY too expensive. A dupe for the becca highlighter is the Urban Decay Afterglow highlighter in "Aura", which I have as well. I hope this helped anyone who was considering buying these products :)

Do people really not have enough problems that they have to complain about the "holographic highlighters" not being holographic. Yes all of us holosexuals dream of the day a holographic highlighter comes out, but until then, let's try not to bombard the comments section with thousands of useless complaints. If it's already been said at least five hundred times, it's been said enough.

Hi tina.. I love that you stick on the "point thing, love you. I was just so tired reading about the complaints that these are not holographic or holo, so I went up googling and reading the meaning of holographic w/c includes, me reading the merriam webster, so I found out that holograph was derived from the word hologram which means "to make a three dimensional" art, so this has nothing to do with colors, this is about how the make ups makes the part of your face pops out and stand out, those were higlighters so it tends to emphasize the things you want to emphasize, and in art, or movies or cards you cannot call a colorful painting or a gadget or a movie a hologram or holographic if it doesnt pop out like it was something you can grab on. Its not about the color, it on the illusion of your cheekbone popping out! *dropsthemic*

Marlene Crisopulli It is because the way the word "this" moves the tongue into a position that the 'st' sounds more like a 'di' In a lot of English dialects 'd' followed with 'ick' is slang for male genital or a jerk. Not really a swear word, but a word that will make most English speakers laugh. Hope that helps.

Hi Tina, and viewers. I have a tip that might blow your minds with these products, especially the Kat Von D one. use these over dark shades for the eyes. Especially over black eyeliner for a look that will stun, and is so versatile. I am a Trucco makeup artist, and these immediately brought to mind the Trucco Angel Face eyeshadow palette that I first experienced in the year 2000. Try it, you won't regret this!

you are welcome. I saw this term on Facebook a few times. I wanted to know what it meant so I looked it up. No, I am not a holosexual. I do love duo- chrome and iridescent makeup: ))

I don't understand how companies get away with calling their product "holographic" when it isn't... Great vid btw Tina. I learned alot from this about highlighters and what they achieve. :D
