I useing the improv masterclass for a year now and it is amazing. Changed my playing and my fretboard knowledge. So thank you for that. If you may... can you make a JTC video about what is your process of thinking when you are improvising. How you get those cool lines and sounds. You rock man.

Hey Martin, I don't know if this would be better for JTC or KZitem but I'd love to hear your philosophy behind gear and tone. Why and how did you pick the gear you use now? How do you test and experiment with new gear? What is good guitar sound to you? What differs in your guitar sound between solo guitar videos, live situations and recordings? What effects do you use and when do you use them? Thanks again for another great video.

What you're partially doing here would be great for your next masterclass. Possibly create improvised phrases, and break them down theoretically ie what the underlying harmony is, the intervallic relationship between the phrase and the underlying harmony. The scales and modes that were use and an analysis of the underlying harmony. All of this would be great as it would really show the student your thought process into your incredible improvisations. Thank you for the consideration and all of your amazing performances and tutorials. You are a gift to the guitar community!

Hmm maybe a Improvisation Masterclass Vol. 2, show some things on imposing triads/7ths on other chords (em & am over cmaj). If you follow the same format for the exercises in Vol 1 (Triad Arp, 7th Arp, Pentatonic, full Scale) how about going over Melodic Minor? Get some extended/altered arpeggios into there? and if you have stuff like this already available please point me in the right direction :) thanks for what you do Martin.

Hi Martin! Thanks for the killer licks! For the JTC Masterclass, I would vote for an Improvisation Volume 2 please. Volume 1 was great, but I felt it lacked of in context examples. I subscribed to your Patreon a few months ago and was particularly interested in the solos transcriptions. But what I was missing was explanations on the tools used for each parts, your mindset on particular sections (wether you think arpeggios, scale, ...). So an Improv Volume 2 JTC masterclass with more contextual practice would be great, after the more theory based first volume. Cheers
