This printer started its life as Flying Vear Reborn 2 and has now been made into a custom Voron Trident 350.
Toolhead: HGX Lite with bearing idler mod, EBB36, CrownCooler toolhead modded for Peopoly Lancer Long hotend with my own dual duct, BIQU Tap v2 by Chaoticlab, CPAP system is currently with 4028 axial fan because I could not get my Nidec turbine to run properly (need a separate PCB for it)
MGN9 rails for X and Y
Bed: ANNEX 350x350x12 aluminum plate, 1kW AC heater, extra B3950 thermistor drilled into it for secondary temperature reading, 120mm 12V axial fan right below the bed connected at 5V as the “bedfan” (no shrouds etc, just two bolts with T-nuts to the frame)
Electronics: custom designed bay printed out of ASA and covered with 5mm polycarbonate panel, MeanWell 200W PSUs 24v and 48v, RPi 3B+, BTT Octopus Pro v1.1, 2209 drivers for Z and 5160Plus drivers for XY, BTT U2C, Arctic P9 12V fan for cooling, 10A rated SSR
Frame is covered with 8mm industrial processed plywood from left and rear and mounted with custom brackets to 2020 extrusions, front has Klickyklacky door, right side has 5mm polycarbonate panel with 2020zeropanels, top is temporarily a thick cardboard sith 2020zeropanels. Sidepanels have all window seal tape on them.
Planned next as of today: replace RPi with a mini PC, install HDMI5 touchscreen, replace top cardboard with something stronger that is not transparent, maybe remove CANBUS and go back to umbilical, get turbine running for CPAP, possibly replace TAP with Cartographer if I keep getting issues with it, redesign my custom triple-Z part with laser cut plates and printed MGN9 cart adapters #3dprinter #3dprinting #voron #flyingbear #reborn2 #flyingbearreborn2 #peopolylancer #vorontrident
