For those of you beginners out there, it took me way longer than three days to get my turns, and I still struggle with things going on riding for a couple years now. If you're like me and you only get out once or twice a season, the progression takes longer. Be patient, and have fun!!

The biggest mistake is thinking people care that you're new/will judge you for being new. On the mountain everyone is there to have fun. You're more likely to make an oldhead like me happy to see new people in the sport rather than have people judge you for not being a pro out the gates

Number 1 rule: Take a lesson with a qualified instructor! No matter what skills your friends have, if they don’t have the skill to teach, you’re wasting so much time and energy trying to learn from them. A good instructor knows how to walk you through everything step by step and pinpoint what will benefit you most at any given point in your learning. Your first few lessons are worth 10 times as much as what you’re being charged, even if it doesn’t seem like it at the time.

Went for my first time last night and my wrist, knees, and tailbone hurts aha we did build up to it though, Did the very mellow area for 4 hours and then a bigger green hill for the last hour. Definitely getting some guards and pads for next time!

Hi I like your videos and we are about to go into our winter here in Australia and if you can make a video on how to correctly tighten your snow board boots including boa type it would be great I haven’t been able to find a good video on this subject

@@laowai2000 correct, I think it already saved my wrist in the first week. Instead of a overbending it caused a local "pressure mark" (?).

I think 3rd point should come first ... I see so many people not wearing a helmet, that's just receipt for disaster ... also 5th point should come second ... I have a friend being taken to a way too hard slope and crashed, and never come back

would you recommend Step Ons for beginners?

I wouldn’t for beginners. I think you get better performance and price from a tradition two strap binding and lace up boot combo.
