I own the Pacifica 611, which is the hardtail version of the 612. Instead of the single coils it only has a p90 in the neck position. Its the best guitar i have ever played or owned. It stays in tune for dasy, it sounds amazing, it plays like butter and its built like a tank. And its not just a fluke, i played several more in stores after buying mine, and they were all consistently amazing guitars. I own a fender ultra as well, and ive owned and played plenty of much higer end guitars than the pacifica, but there is just no contest. Yes and no. I have thought for myself and what I saw planted seeds of doubt. I don't necessarily trust any of them in particular as I don't personally know them, however I'm only basing it on the evidence that has been brought to light. Whether they have talent or not is an opinion and irrelevant to the point being made. "In order to attract views" could be true or just a by-product of them trying to expose what is actually happening. Unfortunately, no, I don't conduct research on "every" purchase I make as it's just not feasible. However, It doesn't change the fact whether something is right or wrong. If something is brought to your attention, that means you must ignore it just because you don't know everything else that is going on around the world? Is that an excusing factor?

Everyone makes mistakes, Vincent. Rob himself said he regretted how that all went along. Important is whether they learned from those mistakes or not. Rob seems to have learned. Just an observation (based on the info I have). Not specifically defending Rob. As for the KDH and Dovydas videos, they are their interpretation of what they think was going on (along with some "evidence"). I would say, f*ck all of that and just buy the guitar you like.
@VHG1993

I totally agree with what you are saying and it does make sense. However, for me, it's the dilemma that he's a public figure as well as the owner of the company. 'IF' he didn't learn from his mistakes, you're going to have it rubbed in your face and left with a bad taste in your mouth. That's why, for the majority, you don't see many owners/CEOs etc with a social media presence. How they present themselves effects the image of the company (whether it was real, fake, poor judgement, a mistake etc) It's just the potential association. And, even if you bought the guitar and unfollowed him, it's still hard to avoid any news from reaching you. It might sound weird but that's why i'm generally not into "artist model" guitars, except, if it was originally owned by the artist and you were a collector.

@Mark Seymour Brought to my attention was said figuratively but you're just determined to say i'm wrong with no counter evidence. But "faith in random people" ? It's a 50/50 choice. And, how do you know that your sources are more reliable than someone else's? Your presenting yourself as stereotypical person who argues politics. "Your party is corrupt" - "No they're not, you're party is corrupt" - "How do you know?" - "Cause I'm right and you're wrong"... 🙄 Riff City, the US tour, charity / gifted guitar, his video addressing KDH's and Riff City's claims and the way he has presented himself just doesn't personally sit well with me. Like it was previously mentioned, it could be a mistake, poor judgement but how do we know? We base it off what is presented (being figurative, just in case you say what's been presented to me). But your logic is flawed again... extreme example but what you are saying is like we should ignore Harvey Weinstein victims because they're probably just looking for fame and money and they're just "random people"... However, on a side note, DOVYDAS has more subscribers (not that I really care). Does that make Chapman more of a random person in comparison? How do you personally determine who is random/relevant/talented? The argument on talent doesn't hold either. If all parties have large platforms on youtube, with the exception KDH, how can you still say they have no talent??? Also talent can be in the form of knowledge of a specific and/or related field. Not just their ability to play (if that's what you are referring too). But DOVYDAS is a talented guitarist. Who's a better guitarist is up for debate (not that I about care about that either). You are most undoubtedly saying that out of spite. You just seem very invested in Chapman, a "random person" (using your logic) and taking it personally. To clarify i'm not saying i'm right and your wrong. I just stated that I was put off from buying one. Also I haven't seen anything and you haven't given me anything to prove me otherwise... other than telling me I trust random, untalented people?
