@@FreshCapMushrooms I just bought Tremella mushroom infused and a hyaluronic acid serum from geek and gorgeous and I’m a little nervous to try it only because I have a skin issue which is an overgrowth of Malassezia. It claims to be safe for that on the website and I’ve been trying to Google to see if in fact, it is safe and not detrimental , I know that that has many health and beauty benefits

I work on a organic mushroom farm in the PNW and enjoy the heck out of your videos. Only been doing this for about 3 years but it’s still amazing that there is multiple lifetimes’ worth of knowledge to be learned about the fungal kingdom. Thanks for the content and looking forward to seeing you all continue to grow! (side note) There’s an angle that you all shot from in this video that’s just a little bit offset and I’m sure it’s on purpose, but it’s not a wide enough angle to feel like I’m watching from a different perspective, instead it looks like you’re just reading from a teleprompter just over the camera’s left.. Just wanted to point that out as it’s a bit distracting. But yes, having watched you all for a year or so now, I agree with everyone else saying that the production increases with seemingly every video!

I grow Agaricus Subrufescens (Blazei) and I’m not very good at it yet but it’s the best mushroom I’ve ever tasted and I want to become a farmer of it. I expect it to take a couple years to get good at it, though. It’s “easy” to grow outside, but it’s a tough one to cultivate and it’s a picky eater. I want to master indoor cultivation before the end of this year, though.

Hi....I'm interested in finding a mushroom that targets the brain n nervous system of the body. I believe there's mushrooms that may make a difference. Please help.

Question: when you see a mushroom extract, say the whole fruiting body, etc., will that extract still contain ergothoneine, or do you have to consume mushrooms fresh to get that compound? I use several mushroom extracts, mostly from Nammex, and wondered if I was getting any ergothioneine in them.
@markopoznjak6080
Жыл бұрын
Great question, and I'm not surprised it hasn't been answered. Most mushrooms contain some kind of toxins, heavy metals and radioactive elements that remain in the extract. Are the extracts and various preparations tested for harmful substances? In addition, who and how determined the exact dosage that should not be exceeded? The fact that a mushroom contains one potentially beneficial ingredient does not preclude the fact that it contains potentially five other harmful ingredients. The recommendations of many institutions of various countries is the consumption of 200 to a maximum of 300 grams of fresh mushrooms per week, from which you can calculate how safe it is to consume mushrooms on a daily basis, especially mushrooms that are not defined as edible. In order for something to become a medicine, it must undergo clinical trials, and as far as I know, not a single mushroom ingredient has yet been officially declared a medicine, let alone the whole mushroom.
@sred5856

@@markopoznjak6080 Well analyzed. Are you saying that if I grow my own mushrooms in my controlled yard, there is still harmful substances (toxins and unwanted substances). Or are you typically commenting on mushrooms we get in a super market or wild mushrooms?

I forage for wild mushrooms and have grown some. I think the medical claims of mushrooms just don't have complete science behind them. Very few have had any double blind studies with a significant number of people in tje study.
@soniasteyns5898

I totally agree and how can these be called medicinal if they are isolated and then grown on straw or in plastic ? . I wild forage in the mountains and I can tell you there is a symbiotic relationship not only with trees but the whole microbiome community in the soil. Nothing works alone in nature.
