FAQ: *“Do these plugins work in ______?”* Yes. You can use these plugins in any DAW like any plugin. Requirements are listed on the link provided in the description. *How do I add these plugins to my vocals?* It depends entirely on the DAW you’re using. In this video I show how to do it in Logic / GarageBand. In other DAWs the process will be different. The same exact way you apply any other plugin you’ve ever used is the same exact way you’d apply these. There is zero difference. If you don’t know how to add plugins to your vocals in your DAW, please google or youtube it.

@@danthony5455 Thank you but to clarify when I say I found my singing style I mean just how to naturally sing not the style of how it's edited with the software, I have yet to do that! It took me a couple of years to know how I want to sing. I kept copying my family members and aimed to sound like the stars most of us know and love. Taking music seriously (vocal training and practicing) these past 4 years has been the most beneficial to finding my style. I calmed down and sang one day just chilling and realized when I'm calm and not aiming to sound like any other artist I sound the best and feel the best. That is how I found my singing style.

Thanks bro for this, quick question, it seems with the Vocal plugin, you can only add one item from one category at a time, I wanted to be able to add a reverb and say a delay to the same track but once I click say the reverb it applies, but when I move to the delay and click it, it removes the first one.

Any serious producer (or a producer that is serious about their future) would be MUCH better positioned to work on learning Compression, EQ, Delay, and Reverb. And for those individual elements, there are WAY better plugins available than this one-button/preset crap. I've been using Universal Audio since the UAD-1 days and couldn't be happier. If you were suggesting free or open source plugins, that would be one thing... but instead, this looks like a 7 minute paid commercial to me.

Sometimes artist just want to experiment n get theyre ideas recorded without the extra shh. Plugins are like toys to me, some i still play with n some i dont but sometimes ppl just like experimenting with sounds to give em inspiration n shh like that. It takes time learning all this stuff, you gotta keep it enjoyable. Plus you may hear something n discover your sound or a new sound that works with your voice or somebody else voice. Dont knock it bruh, you can still be a serious producer and get these lol
@PerryCodes

@@pesopeso510 That's why I said 'producer'. You're going nowhere as a producer if you don't have a solid understanding of compression and eq. And for artists that want to get shit done, there are plenty of simple plugins available for FREE.

Not sure if there is a short answer for this but.... do you normally just go with the first feeling when you record your vocals/bgvs? Getting the perfect feeling for arrangements is sometimes a task for me. I over think alot lol
@bl6628
2 жыл бұрын
Go with the first feeling and also record other takes where you use different versions. Purposefully do a few "wrong" on purpose, just to take the pressure off and loosen up. Sometimes it helps to just loop record and be experimental, try different things, be dumb, and if you ever hit something you like, it's recorded!
@IAMLXGEND
2 жыл бұрын
B L is right. I don’t personally do the purposefully recording wrong takes but that could work for you as well. I will piggy back and say definitely if your first take felt good, keep it. Often times it’s got the most emotion since it’s the first time you’ve recorded that part. If it’s not entirely good, keep it just in case and record more. You can then choose to splice some of the first take with other takes by toplining or decide to go with another all together. Some cases I actually end up liking my first take even WITH imperfections. If you listen closely in one of the verses for AMNA, you can hear me breathing in all snotty. It was something I’d planned on re-recording but decided not only did it contribute to the story behind the creation of the song (being sick) but it also just was the best take I’d done overall.

Hello I’ve been following you for a while and enjoy watching your content. This is a copy and paste comment that originally I comment this on decap channel which you might be familiar with cause of course he’s more known for his packs on spice and all and here goes: I seen how distrokid now like okay so I’m seeing right now that if you want KZitem content Id on distrokid it mentions you can’t use sample loops from Logic, ableton, etc. and I of course Mostly use splice samples. When of course in the mood of doing sample beats. I’m not sign up to distrokid yet but seen a video discuss about it and so I do make songs because I’m also a rapper and singer and most songs I am planning to release once I sign up to distro some songs do include royalty free samples from splice so should I not then check the KZitem content Id then pretty much? What do you think and of course have use samples as yours but mainly it’ll be one shot kicks, snares or once in awhile using loops drums.if using melodies of course I’ll either chop it up or spice it up like playing vst and others on top of it. Thank you 😊
@IAMLXGEND
2 жыл бұрын
If ur using one shots, you’re fine. Nobody is gonna claim you over a kick sound. Would be wild. If it’s a lengthy sample, then don’t check content ID. You Don’t want to run into issues in the future.
@RRRSoulEvan

@@IAMLXGEND so songs I made with splice melody samples even though I played few stuff on top of it so, pretty much don’t check the content Id and check ones where songs I made that don’t have melody samples involve and it’s all self melody made by me and etc? Thanks for the respond I really appreciated cause I’ll be signing up distro soon! Most friends I know are using it and seem proud of the service. In addition, keep up with the content been following you a long time and I’m about to get serious with music this year that’s why I’m asking so I can start off distro responsibly😎👍🏻(also in addition, it’s thanks to you I sign up output arcade and splice 😁last year and still using them)
@IAMLXGEND
2 жыл бұрын
Exactly right. If they say no samples for content ID I’d imagine there is a good reason why and I definitely don’t wanna make youtube angry. So any songs I use with a sample from any site that wasn’t made by me I don’t check content ID. Unfortunately that’s just what you have to deal with when using samples. Rightfully so. But yea I’m super glad to have helped for so long. Splice is so good. They were the foundation of my latest song AMNA. As well as output just such good sauce on top of your music.
@RRRSoulEvan
2 жыл бұрын
@@IAMLXGEND yes indeed and now my next move is I’ve been doing music since 13 and now I feel like my production game cause I make my own beats as well and so I feel and friends tells me too that has distro. Like make this year your year man start getting heard man and so that’s what I’mma do that’s my next move and trying to get omisphere cause I feel like I’m ready to step my productions to the next level cause all beats I made are combinations of free vst that I’ll see other producers use on this platform, splice, output and Logic stock vst. That’s my next move. And yea man those songs were great I enjoyed it and in addition, when watching you make beats and other producers it gets me motivated and in addition, defeat beat block when I have them at times. The song I’m planning to release next on my channel which will be like a new start for me cause I haven’t post in awhile. I think it’s my best work I’ve ever done. I believe that song I want to put out I might be good for content Id cause I know the one I want to put out as my comeback. All sounds for sure is original from me only thing is loop is just the drumloop from decap. That’s about it and just one shot sounds of hook from output arcade but added reverb and all to spice up the beat. You’ll see…anyway drumloop should be okay right. Is mainly melody samples that content id is more concern of?

Hey man, first off great videos 👍 I do have a question when it comes to selling beats and instrumentals on shopify. I've watched both of your "how to sell ... " , and I'm curious on when I do sell my beats on there do I need to copyright anything or is that just for selling singles for entertainment and not for use purposes?? Sorry if this doesn't make sense as well haha 😅 Thank you again IAMLXGEND
@IAMLXGEND
2 жыл бұрын
It’s for whatever purpose YOU designate as the seller. You own the copyright the moment you create the work. If you want an official copyright to further instill that, then you’ll need to file with the government online. You don’t “need” to do this before selling. It’s all up to you. In short, If you want the most & immediate protection: yes.

For a beginner though, I mean FL is good to get started on just as much as it is for pros but it’s still got a higher learning curve Tha something like GarageBand or serato. Those are the simplest and easiest to use out there.

Hey there. Windows 10 Cubase 12. I called support, and they justified that if a a project has to many tracks, the plug in will crash. In other words, is just a toy for now. However, if you are recording no more than 8 tracks, you should be fine. Best.
@IAMLXGEND
2 жыл бұрын
8 tracks? A toy? That’s not true, whatsoever. Lol. Every project I’ve ever recorded with LANDR FX has well over 20 vocal tracks, each with at least 5 plugins on them a piece and bussed to another 2 channels with 2-3 plugins on them as well. I’ve never had issues. I also have 64gb of ram and an 8-core processor. May not be the plug-in that is the issue. Could very well be your computer setup.
@artg7909
2 жыл бұрын
Not a toy.....ok maybe not. Something that makes thing quick I meant. Frankly it is all about your pc. Not everyone has the option you mebtioned. Anyhow, I am not the only one pointing things out. I am sure they will fix this to not allow there plugins to not consume so much CPU without any predisposition. Thanks.
